    His footwork is amazing, and I've never seen him break down how he takes backs so easily. Most fighters square step, which he shows @4:00. It's slower and easily read, but always keeps your stance and balance. Loma steps past their lead leg, and does a heel pivot. It's fast and hard to read, but forces a stance swap and invites a lead-hand jab, which is why he starts with something to tie up the lead hand. He's playing chess in there.

Literally they made a video compilation of how many times Lomas balls were bouncing around like a speedbag due to the insane number of illegal low blows Salido was landing .. and they had the never to say Loma was holding a lot .. i would hold a lot to if my balls were about to explode ... & it was his 2nd PRO fight against a guy who cheated and came in heavy and weighed like 147 the night of the fight .. That is Welterweight ... & Loma was 136 .. and LOMA still almost KO'd his ass in the last couple rounds ... so kick rocks pussy bag .. you know nothing of boxing...

      A great fighter doesn't usually end up being a great trainer. The contrary actually happens more often. Loma said once that he didn't always understand why his father tells him to do this or that. He might disagree but eventually it would turn out that the father was right. And now compare both - Loma is a 2-time Olympic Gold medalist and his father, who never won any state championship. And both are geniuses at what they do

      He secretly has a giant vendetta against Vasyl. Started when they were both teenagers, over an attractive yet aloof girl in a small village located on the outskirts of Khrystynivka. They fought all the time over her, she was an excellent tap dancer/boxing coach and they wanted more time with her to themselves. This boiled over into the present where he just refuses to let Loma teach anything, in hopes she is still watching and will confess that he is truly the greatest to ever rise from the mean streets of Khrystynivka.

    In no way shape or form am I hating... But honestly... All of these things shown are boxing 101. It's nothing new and extremely common. The reason why a lot of people see this as innovative is because basic bare bones boxing technique has been all but lost in modern day boxing gyms around the world. Older boxing enthusiasts would agree, No Mas Chenko is definitely the real deal, but he's a throwback, a nod to fighters that came before him. Floyd Patterson, Sugar Ray Robinson, I could go on, but you can just CZcams these two fighters and see what I'm talking about... Loma dominates because his style is true boxing. No dancing, no flashy shit, just pure... Boxing

      @bagatelleno.2593 Před 2 lety

      Lol no sir. First of all im sorry for my bad English. And second i’ll tell you what i learned from my experience. I studied at the college in Russia for 5 years. What i saw in my student life , from elementary to middle to high school, of course college too, that sambo (wrestling), boxing, and kickboxing are taught everywhere. After the USSR disbanded, there are a lot more countries keep that standard in that way. My friends who come from Uzbekistan, 2 are wrestlers, 1 is a boxer, three of them know both things, the matter is who is better. They all have this old “soviet” boxing style as my coach in college, which you can tell at footwork and defense. Western style has philly shell, soviet boxing has pendulum steps. This style is focus on footwork, pendulum steps, and balance so you can always have good positions to fire you punch, even with kick. It’s worth to mention that my coach also taught us how important of rotations in a strike. It all come from earth, then hip, through loose shoulder, and then the punch. So if you want to find out more about this style you can check a new channel called “Russian school of boxing”. I was a fool back then for laughing at those little silly exercises with long stick over my shoulder and roll with the hip. Now the more i train, the more i want to come back to those good old days and say thank to my coach.
