Ryobi Battery & Free Too Deal - Too Good to Pass Up!

In many cases these days, battery operated shop tools are sold "tool only" to not only keep costs down but to also have you buy more batteries because, let's be honest, that's where the money is!
Over the years I've picked up a number of Ryobi tools and I like their one battery approach versus someone like DeWalt who is changing battery form factor every year or two to force you to buy more batteries or prevent you from utilizing the batteries you already have.
So, since I have more Ryobi tools than batteries, I decided to pick up a few Ryobi compatible batteries. Last time I bought "clone" batteries from the rain forest they were absolute junk, so I decided to find actual Ryobi batteries locally.
The orange big box shop had 2 x 4Ah ‪@bruitagegratuitatelecharge5448‬plus a charger for ~$200 out the door. They also had a promo for 1 2Ah plus 1 4Ah and a charger for $99 and you get a Ryobi tool of your choice. What? Now that's a deal I can get behind! Good on you, Ryobi!

Blade release is on the Brushless version of the tool, you have the brushed version.

Ah...Ryobi clearing out older stock/technology with the buy something get something free promotion. Considering frequency of this tool's usage, I'm good with that.

I wish that Ryobi Fan was brushless, same with their Misting fan. Recently got into Ryobi and I LOVE their stuff so far. Perfect price/value for a DIYer.

Working all day with my tools, I try not to use anything less than a 6ah battery. HD had a 2-pack of 6ah for $149 a few months ago. I'm waiting for that sale again. The 2ah die so fast, I only use them in ryobi lights.
