I live in the same town where this happened and one of the fallen officers was a patient of ours, needless to say we were all shook by the horrible news! my boss was hardly able to function 😩today....

He wanted to stay free. He was a suspected car thief and he fled knowing he'd spend several years in prison.

He had a previous run in with the law a couple of years ago and may have harbored resentment for law enforcement...atleast that's the theory that was given...it could be all speculation obviously... but it was a sad day and dark day for Syracuse law enforcement...I work at the hospital where the fallen officers were brought...there was a MASSIVE police presence.
