Materials Used;
Hook, Fulling Mill Competition Heavyweight size 12
Thread, Uni-8/0 Fire Orange
Tag, Fire Orange Thread
Tail, Golden Pheasant Tippet Natural or Dyed Golden Olive
Rib, Small Oval Gold Tinsel
Body. Olive and Yellow Seals Fur Blended which gives you a nice Golden Olive
Hackle, Grizzle Hen dyed Sunburst a modern Golden Olive..
Wing, Natural Bronze Mallard or Dyed a light Brown Olive - Sport

Had great success with this pattern when fishing on South Uist this year, substituted the hackle and the wing for material that was a golden olive colour as didn't have all the materials that were used in the original that Davie used in the video. I always have this in my fly box.

Have you heard of a salmon pattern called "The Usk Grub"?
I know you're inundated with requests, but if you have the time and inclination, I'd love to see your interpretation of this fly, maybe tied on double.
