Hi Francisco! Price will vary by area and vendor. Plan to pay somewhere between $1800 to $3000 depending on miles and condition.

Just took my 2006 F150 King Ranch, 5.4L V8, in for a tune up. The mechanic said the plugs were breaking off, and he had to pull the motor to replace them by drilling them out, which I thought was very avoidable as an industry standard by now. When I took the truck for repairs, it had never had any problems-only the engine light for the plugs and coils. When I got it back, it rough idled, and at a very low RPM. The truck only had 125000 miles on it. He said it had an internal engine problem and that is why he could not completely fix it. The truck should have lasted me much longer. I think he broke that motor mounts when he removed the motor, because it shook so bad at idle, and I also think he left me with a vacuum leak. There was no smoking or any engine lights after repairs. I just think he ruined my truck. I ended up selling it for $7000. Any input from anyone?

You mean a F150 right? Not an F105?
