Lucy is captivating with a voice as smooth as silk. She has some kind of aura that draws me in every time she sings. I have listened to Lucy's songs over and over again these past four years and she is out of this world! Lucy is a shining star!
Lucy is the most mesmerizing beautiful soul with a warm and pure voice! Once you start, you cannot stop listening to Lucy. That beauty, that vibrato, that gorgeous tone, Lucy is the whole package!
Also her duets with her sister Martha ( who we all love like Lucy are out of this world!

Every time I see someone reacting to a Lucy Thomas performance for the first time I look at their face. It took about three seconds for your face to show what your ears were telling you -- "what a beautiful voice!" Get used to it. She's unbelievably beautiful on everything she performs. I have followed music since I was a teen, and I, along with many others, have never heard anyone else as good as Lucy Thomas. You will really enjoy reacting to her! Good choices for her next reaction are "Evergreen", "At Last", and "Hallelujah".

Loved your reaction. Lucy is a special talent who shows great respect for the songs that she covers. She puts her own spin on them but doesn’t stray too far from the original version. She doesn’t need to use vocal gymnastics as her voice is so pure that she can extend and hold notes perfectly before adding a beautifully controlled touch of vibrato. Her lower register is simply the best. Even at the age of 14/15 years old Lucy already had these qualities as you will discover if you go down the Lucy Thomas rabbit hole. Take some time to listen to her duets with her sister Martha, who is a part time singer (almost 6 years younger too), and you will hear some incredible harmonies. ❤

Sometimes there pops up a singer, so good that one will think "what is happening, did I live under a rock?" When I discovered Lucy about 3 years ago I had that feeling. Especially because she is performing songs and a genre I love so much. I am not in for hard-rock, lots of noise and metal (with respect for all who likes that), but this melodic music is "heaven" for me. It really is. You really have found a wonderful rabbit hole now, worth to be discovered. Lucy is 20 years of age and this year, I think, will bring her breakthrough. What sets up her apart from others is the warmth in her voice. And she is a great storyteller as well, which makes that almost every song she performs has an impact on the audience. She recently had a concert in Manchester which the songs released so far are out of this world hallelujah, somewhere, at last and we can change the world soon a musical rosie that she is starting in and another concert in japan

She is the best of the best, making every song her own. She will be the lead in stage play Rosie next year.
Hello Leo, thank you for your reaction to Lucy singing " Unchained Melody " well you are just so close in everthing which Lucy is., Lucy is my heaven her voice is just outstanding nobody can sing like Lucy, the Poms just do not realise what a Angel they have.Leo she has 6 albums out there listen to her album from " Rosie " which is a new musical which will open in the West End next year, Lucy will be the leading lady of this Musical. Her Manager is Chris Broom who just like Andrew Lloyd Webber he is a prolific song writer who has won many awards, he owns Cavendish Records and Lucy is his Superstar. Leo Lucy had her first live concert last March in Manchester & 4 of her songs from the concert you can see them on CZcams. Her next live concert will be in Japan this coming September. We need the people of Austrailia to hear Lucy Thomas & her sister Martha. Take care, Barbara.

Saw you reacted to Celine. Same song from Lucy is also worthwhile. Also try Evergreen, Hallelujah, The way we were, an early one like Listen at 14y or any duet with her 5y,8mo younger syster Martha. There are no bad choices with Lucy. She is that good. Enjoy.

Lucy was immediately signed by Cavendish record company after the Voice kids. ( Even if she did not win...but you know this type of show has some undercover rules..🙁).
Chris Broom the manager of Cavendish records , chose her to be the lead role of the musical he wrote: Rosie. Hopefully the premiere should be at the end of this year or beginning of next year in London.

Lucy has covered rock, jazz, theatre, and country. You will find she can shape her voice to each type of music.
She does lean into theatre but is great doing any genre.
If you liked the last note of Unchained Melody, listen to the last note of Evergreen.
You must listen to her at all ages.
You will also see duets with her 5+ year, younger sister and once you check out those, listen to Smile where her mother joins the girls for UK mother's day.

I'm so glad you enjoyed my request, Lucy is incredible and can sing virtually any style of music effortlessly. At the start of next year she is due to star in a brand new musical written especially for her on London's West End stage called "Rosie." I highly recommend that you react to one of her duets with her 5 years and 8 months younger sister Martha. I can assure you it doesn't matter which performance you choose they're all amazing. Lucy's on her way to international stardom, her sister is not that interested in music professionally, apparently she loves horses. A great analysis by the way to what many reactors seem to believe is the most beautiful voice on the planet.

Hey Leo, your reaction was stunning. I'm not surprised by it though. All of us (likely more than a million now) who hear Lucy for the first time are stunned. The Lucy Effect it is known as. Chris Broom, an award winning song writer and playwright recognized Lucy's talent and selected her to star in his Musical Rosie when she was but 13 years old. He also signed her to a recording contract (Cavendish Records) which now includes 6 CDs.
Welcome!! At this point, there is no escape possible - resistance is futile. You are now a member of the Lucy Thomas Club. Consider it like hitting the Lottery. Everybody is entitled to their preference and favorite, however in my opinion Lucy is the best female vocalist in the world - with the most beautiful voice out there. This song is a pretty decent example, but you will quickly see as you review more of her. At the ripe age of 20 - she has it all & it is all right in front of her. She has been slaying Iconic & historic covers for years now, including this one. She is starring on stage, in lead role in "Rosie the Musical" later this year in London. Had her 1st live public concert in Manchester UK a few months back. Her voice, vocal skills and performative skills are simply undeniable - she is on her way!! Great reaction to the best singer in the world. But then again how else could you possibly have reacted to that performance. You have a lot to catch up on with Lucy, but you are guaranteed to enjoy every moment while doing so. She is unique and unmatched by anyone. The stuff she was doing at 14/15/16 years old will blow you away with her talent at that age.
My friend we are witnessing a super star being born. Jump on the Lucy Thomas train. I’ve watch her for 3 years now. Lucy never ever disappoints. All her recordings are amazing. WOW !! Good old you tube took 4 days for this to show up. Evidently you have been"Down under" waaay to long to not have discovered Lucy Thomas, she has been recording for 10 years since she was 10 years old, RUN, re recorded at 15, What you just saw was her latest and greatest song, and yes she is STUNNING, I have been following Lucy for several years and I would suggest 4 of her recent LIVE performances she did in Manchester UK in march, SOMEWHERE, the opening song, AT LAST, and her Closing song, From the musical ROSIE she will star in, WE CAN CHANGE THE WORLD, and as her encore as her 17th song HALLELUJAH, which she rocked the house with, I consider her the best singer I have ever heard. Lucy was 20 years old in Feb and the frosting on the cake Lucy has a 5 year 8 month younger sister, Martha who has joined Lucy with about 10 duets, recent duets , MARY DID YOU KNOW, WHAT A WONDERFUL WORLD, THE PRAYER, THE CLIMB. Lucy has taken on some of the icons like Barbra Streisand and has proven she has the better voice and version. You want breath control, Lucy has it. You want vibrato, Lucy has it. Her voice is silky smooth through out her range, from high to low. And when she wants to hold a note, she can hold it for an extremely long time before her vibrato kicks in. Lucy Thomas is the best vocalist.
If you want to enjoy a duet, check out every song she sings with her sister, Martha.
It’s a tough call covering Barbra, will have to check that out too.

Well, Lucy has covered that 1 and improved it too.

Sound Museum, yes, Lucy is 'that good'; I NEVER used this short phrase for anyone, EVER......until I heard and saw my first Lucy performance.......that's all it took........Lucy is just on a different level; I can't describe it.......the 'Lucy effect' is NOT a 'catch phrase'; it's a REAL phenomena, LOL! If you want theatre from Lucy, well all you had to do was ask: from her musical, "Rosie", please check out her masterpieces: "Starlight", "Suddenly", "Gentle Breeze", and "Broken Dreams", should get you started!

Leo is it?... Great reaction. What an incredible cover of this massive classic. I've been listening to Lucy long enough now to not be surprised, but before this I never thought I'd hear a version of this song that I'd prefer over the Righteous Brothers. Truth is, I wouldn't be surprised if the Righteous Brothers might not prefer listening to Lucy over listening to themselves. Either way, I'm sure they'd be proud of the job she did here. Most beautiful voice in the world, on full display.
So you've now listened to her most recent song (she's 20 yrs old), you may want to consider her most popular song, Leonard Cohen's Hallelujah (age 16), and one of her dozen or so duets with her 5-year-younger sister, Martha... maybe The Prayer. Andrea Bocelli and Celine Dion are great, for sure, but Lucy Thomas and her little sister Martha (ages 16 and 11, I think) are simply Magic. Don't feel bad if you get a little emotional. Many of us do.

Fantastic some suggestions two versions of Hallelujah first at age 16 second at 19 Evergreen, At Last, La vie en rose, duet the prayer at 17 with her sister martha age 12. Bridge over troubled water. She brings tears and chills freely.

You keep harping "On the stage" Check out her ORIGINAL songs for ROSIE in which Lucy will sing the lead when they get the musical to open fall 2024 or 2025, Check out ROSIE the musical, and she has an album (CD) of all the songs, starting when she was 15 up to 19 and see what she will be singing !!! Her closing song, on her concert, WE CAN CHANGE THE WORLD, is a recording of her LIVE, which will also be the closing song of ROSIE!!! and HALLELUJAH was her live encore. check em out and leave some time to enjoy and play a couple of times !! !
