Grant proposals: Simulating a response to a funding call

PhD students learn to write a research proposal as a group. In a series of sessions, they cover the steps from generating early ideas, considering research ethics, writing a budget and making a timetable. By the end, each group completes a funding proposal ready for review by an expert panel.
