- It is a collection of pictures of El Monte High School students from the late 70's to present and a brief collection of stories about the past by Brian Baker, Tom Eilers, and Pat Beckham. They are reliving the past and expressing for other alumni to reconnect to each other and keep the memories alive!
Brian! You ROCK!!!!!
Well done Gentleman.. Took me back in time when life was so simple, but at that time seemed so complicated. I recall all the stories of George and Robbie, took part in many of them too. Yes George had no "Reverse" We lost it at Legg Lake in the Strawberry Fields one rainy day. "Hoods for Life !" ;)
Im from EMHS's class of 2012. It was nice to watch this video and hear about the great memories these gentlemen had, it's amazing. I had an English teacher named Mr. Barton my junior year and I do believe he is the son of the principal Mr. Barton that was mentioned. He's such a good teacher and person over all.
Class of 2023 💖
Love It! Let's go flying Brian!
Outstanding EMHS Class of 1981 ROCKS GO LIONS
This video should be called "Ode to the Hoods"... Ahhhhhhhh good times! The only one you missed is the one with George and the goats head and Miss Walker....
Class of 2020 the whole entire school has changed we're in prison.
Class of 78 did a lot of toilet papering. We toilet papered the teachers, athletes, band members. We would cram into my Toyota Corona. I never wrecked it. It has been great reconnecting with our great lions on Facebook and myfamily.com
I'm also at MVHS. I'm Helping the band program as drum instructor. and Larry is a big help with the band program. After all he is a drumline father, with his sons being in the drumline at there schools. So when I went into the office on my first day he said 'O MY! Its the drummer boy from the lions band. He knows his Lions. I was there from 81 to 84, and was a snare drummer in what was "THE MIGHTY LIONS BAND". I didn't graduate from the Lions farm but "IM STILL A LION TO THE DAY I DIE! I remember a lot of the stuff that was said in this video. My brother Eddie Medina was the class of 81, so I was always around the LIONS BAND. I also grew up with Mike and John and went to the same schools they did. Man the good old days of this town. Thanks for the memories of the town I still live in.
