That site I dug the FE is hammered to death. It was my first go with the machine. I was digging crap after crap and finally that coin fell out of the dirt. It was a great feeling of relief. Kurt you and Brad had a killer day at the button factory for sure! Tell Brad his wing looking thingy made of brass is a scale off of a a Cavalry shoulder Epaulet! (Civil War) and the dog and rabbit button is commonly referred to as a Livery button, probably mid to late 1800's depending on back mark if there is one, most likely a London back mark! You guys were killing it with them Navy buttons, great hunt, super vid and especially thanks for sharing the fun!

The work that you put in doing research certainly pays dividends Kurt. I just watched the video where Brad found the two flying eagle cents- what metal detectors do that?
I love the way you guys are actually saving history. I’m recovering from being paralyzed. Three years ago I was paralyzed and now I’m able to use a walker during physical therapy. I would have never known about you guys except I lay for hours unable to sleep. So I watch. I’m hoping you see these new comments on old videos. Maybe if I get this walking around thing figured out again I’ll join you for a hunt. I’m due for a good hunt. I can get us permission to hunt inside Washingtons Crossing PA- Bucks county. I lived inside the park basically but our subdivision is 9 acres and I can get access to all of it I believe, based on the fact that we aren’t looking to rob graves. I sure would love to put that together and see what’s been hidden for all those years.

Sandy soil is about all we have down here with low mineralization. Its fun and easy to dig. Enjoyed the lots of finds and really nice scenery. Also with the sandy soil our targets don't seem to be that deep. HH.

kon-uh-STO-guh
Four syllables (not three) with the "e" pronounced and the accent on the 3rd syllable.
After Conestoga PA west of Philadelphia and namesake of the famous wagon. I have lots of friends there so it kind of matters.
