- #78 Metal Detecting at its finest. We gained permission to Hunt this Incredible Plantation on ground that dates back to the 17th century. We dug Silver Coins, Big Coppers, Civil War Relics and a relic from the 1600's!!

I drive from Charles Town, WV to Laurel, MD every day. 6 days a week. 1.5 hours one way but I love my job. With a commute that long, there's little time left to go bleeping. I carry my AT Pro with me everywhere I go. I'd be bleary eyed just like you, Kurt, after a hard days hunting but it wouldn't matter to me. I'll stay till the wee hours of the .... morning? afternoon? Long as the finds keep coming. Thanks for the great videos. Keep em coming.

That first "thing" you pointed at in the roundup is a finger twine knife. Used them a lot at a plant nursery I worked at. Awesome hunt. Loved that cabin button!

I cant hardly even find clad coins with my bounty hunter gold detector. I believe that's what made me take a long break from the hobby, but watching your last few videos have kind of got my fire lighted up again. A spectacular hunt Kurt! Congrats on finding the Half Cent! The Harrison Log Cabin Campaign button is a SUPER find and a fairly rare button! Brads colonial shoe buckle is very nice find! But, Brads holed button draws my attention. Why holed? It had to be something special or commemorative based on the other finds you all dug with age! Could it possibly be an old chicken Eagle on the front similar to the GW Inaugural buttons? Got a readed edge, or edge with wording, looks to be a hint of gold guilt! He may want to briefly hit it with ammonia to see if the gold detail pops out to help identify or get someone with good Civil War relic knowledge to take a look see. My feelings tell me that it is not just a basic old flat button, but a very special flat button! You guys found a great Hunted out spot to dig and thanks for sharing!

It looked like 2 people with something in between. We'd love to know more about it but it's a tough one. If we find out any more info you will know, HH

But, when theTherobreds from Baltimore roll up. You then can say it's hunted out!. Awesome location! Lots of highlight reel finds on this trip! You're half cent is incredible. Brads spectacle buckle is a killer find! I've only ever found one, and a similar design to his. 1650-1720. Everyone found some great stuff! can't wait till next week when you put another video up! I need to get out again soon. I agree on the potential lead pencil possibility. The round thing with the hole in it looks like an oxen horn knob.
The round thing was Lead. Definitely not an Ox Knob. I worked forever trying to fish it out from under a mess of roots. I wish it was a knob. That's one that eludes me.
The Hoover Boys I ssooooo could say something to the point of "a knob eluding you" but I'm a good sister, so I won't...but I laughed so hard when I read that tho! Bwahahahahaha!!!

I need a largie! I've gotten zincolns, Lincolns, Wheaties an IHP and a flying eagle! I'm sure there's one here. Property was settled in mid 1700's and current house was built in 1812. Another nice video fellas. BTW! I actually live right around the corner from the William Henry Harrison tomb in North Bend, Ohio. Here's a tidbit. I believe that his short term as president was due to complications from the sickness he had from that long inaugural speech which took place in the rain.
