At around the time this video was made I was out in the Pilbara WA searching for gold with a GPX4500, had a bit of luck with it but it drove me mad constantly changing settings dealing with its famous going off the rails at any random moment with EMI, I sold that and bought a new GPX 6000, a great little machine but same as the 4500 would go off chops screaming and carrying on from EMI, drove me mad and sold it. I picked up one of these as a giveaway and took it out. This little machine is awesome and highly underrated, it’s the best of both worlds gold and relics and is stable on highly mineralized ground like the Pilbara is famous for.

Hi Warren, thanks for the great video. I've got an AT Gold that needs a new PC board, I think. Do you know of any instructional video that will tell me how to remove the front panel. It's out of warranty too. Steve.
