30:22 just a correction if you guys still may be confused. Bokuto is in the top 5 for Spikers, so Oikawa was not mentioned when talking about the spikers above Bokuto.

Also is a national "ranking". No one knows Oikawa outside the prefecture, so even if he was a spiker he would not be able to be classified as one of them.

The thing is, with playing good teams is kinda easier, because they apply the best tactics, but because of that, you know well how to counter, like you position your blockers in some way, leave some space for the libero... A super tall bad player is difficult to handle not really because of his height, but because he will hit randomly, that's why even Noya took some time to figure it out.
Also, about the minus tempo. The less believable thing about that quick will always be the set, because the speed is nowhere near unbelievable territory. Normal middle blockers are tall and heavy, they do quick in a "slowish way" because of that, they apply speed by brute arm force and elbow lever, because they are big, but the approach can't be that fast. What Hinata is doing is more like an outside hitter fast approach, that he applies in the middle just because.. he's not good at many things and the middle position is the only one suited for his current self.
So, when a little and light player jumps, he can be faster. Japanese (and thai) plays are often based on speed, to compensate the lack of tall players. So what Ukai said is not "not even olympic players cant do that", but more something like: Hinata works best with his speed, but in any other context he'd be... not even on the bench because he's lacking everything. Kageyama is able to use that speed well and from the start he was presented with the opposite problem, he could see the best path for the ball but nobody would reach it. Hinata is just crazy enough to go for every ball, not really the best tactic
Just a clarification. Ushijima is the only spiker in the Miyagi prefecture in the top 5 in the country. This tournament is to determine which team from the Miyagi prefecture makes it to nationals.

About the top 5 ace that bokuto talks about. Bokuto is in top 5 but never stated if he is top 4 or 5.
Oikawa is not in the 5 ace since he is a setter. He isn't the top setter in national too since he team never been to nationals. Not that oikawa is weak but lack of exposure.

Great reaction! Just a quick correction but Bokuto mentioned the Top Five Aces. Bokuto is top five while Ushijima is in the top three. Oikawa is a setter and is not a recognized player as he’s never been to nationals so he’s not on the list.
