The S4 Finally Gets New Wheels And Tires | Looks So Much Better!

- Hey Everyone.
We are back working on the s4 this week, and have a much needed modification for the car. I've been on the lookout for nice wheels and tires for the car for pretty much as long as I've owned it. I managed to find a set of Rotiforms for only a couple hundred bucks! The only issue, is they are about the worst color possible for the car.

Silver was absolutely the right choice.
Rotiform fun fact... The Rotiform "TMB" style name was derived from the Miami Executive Airport - Kendall-tamiami Executive Airport (tmb).
It is a great Brand and the silver TMB's look proper on the S4.

Got those same wheels on my B5 A4! Been considering cleaning these up and putting them on my B5 S4, this might just have convinced me...

Not even just the car I’m talking about and how you go about your projects. The way you break down what you are talking about and the fluency of it is like no other. I also own a 2002 silver 225 and I just bought a Santorin b5 with the panda alcantara seats, cold weather pack, and the sports package. I waited a long time for the b5… I really hope you keep this up. The way you can make your audience feel present in your thoughts and the whole inside and out of what your doing. Keep it up bro!

Awesome Video! I run 18 x 8.5 ET 35 without spacers on my B5 and it is wonderful! You may not need spacers at all. Great steal on the Rotiforms.
Man it will be super close with the S4 calipers on the front🤔 I'll definitely need to measure it out and see. Worst case we can run some really small ones until the new brakes show up!

Man it's kinda bittersweet! I'm definitely keeping them with the tires because they are a common enough size that the odds the next project could use them in a pinch is pretty high.

225/40 tires on 18" wheels would have been closer to OEM circumference. Have you noticed any clearance issues with the ride height since the change? Love the new wheels btw.
I haven't had any clearance issues actually. Beforehand the car was running 225/40/17s so moving to the 235/35/18s is actually a marginally larger diameter...though its close enough not to make a big difference haha. I'm glad you like the wheels!
