  • This week I show you how to use the Riverside platform to record and edit your podcast.
If you’re starting your online business journey, I’ve put together this checklist of all the tools I use to help you along the way ►► www.timpeakman.com/tools

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: to stand out in a crowded marketplace you have to do something different.
Riverside FM stood out to me when they burst onto the content creation scene. They boasted that they had the software that records the highest quality video and audio anywhere on the market.
I have to say, I was sceptical at first until I started using the platform for myself. The problem that they are solving is so huge, that they solved it with a simple solution.
Riverside FM simply allows for local recording on individual desktops before uploading the full recording to the cloud. This negates the danger of unstable WiFi affecting the finalised video recording.
I love this platform so much that I’ve created a video to show you how I’ve been using it. In this video, you will learn:
    1. How to set up a virtual studio so that you can easily invite your guests and host a call.
    2. The tactics you should be aware of to capture the best audio and video possible.
    3. How to edit your videos to repurpose across your different social media platforms.
    4. And a whole lot more…
As you know, I like to keep the software tools that I subscribe to a minimum. This tool has been so helpful to me that it’s now made the list. Be sure to scrutinise what tools you are using for your online business, regularly and without emotion.
Enjoy the process, no matter the outcome.

When I do a test recording I don’t hear myself when it is done recording. I have a mixer with two mics/headphones as well.

Hey Quincy. Have a play around with the studio settings. You have the option to select the microphone and speaker settings separately. Select your device from the dropdown. Carry out some test recordings and then see what works. Also check your connections are secure. Let me know how it goes. 🤓

I tried with a couple of friends but after 6min they both cut out and all you could hear is me talking to myself for 25 more minutes! what happened? thinking of bailing on riverside if I have to worry about that happening again such a waste of time any ideas?

Hey Nathan. If you’re having tech issues with the platform itself - I would recommend that you reach out to riverside support directly. They are in the best possible position to help you here. Hope you get it all sorted. Best of luck. 🤓

I had to stop listening - that background music is just awful. Think about dropping that.
