The BEST (Or Worst?) purchase to make in Thailand

  • In general, public transportation and the ease of getting place to place in Thailand is never an issue. Especially in Pattaya you have motorbike taxis, the baht bus and multiple other options to get around the city. However, there are pros and cons with all the public transportation in Thailand just like anywhere else. One of my favorite things about Thailand is the amount of QUALITY used motorbikes for sale. Recently I made a purchase to alleviate my transportation woes, as well as make the ease of access to make better videos for YOU a bit more doable. So, what have we done?

    Bummer about your tires! Suspicious, huh? Let us know what CCTV shows! Happy you have transportation that is sooo inexpensive for all your adventures! I'm impressed!

    Nice bike! We all want to know if viewing the cameras solved the flat tires mystery. 🤔

    That was awesome! Thanks for the great information. Basic maintenance is crucial and a lot of us don't know it. Great insider tips!

    Great idea to get your own bike. Hondas are usually reliable. That is a little suspicious about the tires…

    Sweet bike! You might wanna invest in an impact wrench/driver with a dual chuck to perform both function. It'll decrease the workload and last you for years.

    Hey bud. I used to live in Thailand so I have a suggestion for you. Please get insurance!!!!!! The mandatory insurance you got when you register the bike is not insurance. It covers the cost to scrape you off the road if you have an accident. It does not cover any damage to your bike or more importantly it does not cover any damage to the other vehicle. Please get 3rd party insurance at a minimum, it will cover the other vehicle in an accident but not yours. 1st class insurance is the best as it covers you and the other person but being that your bike is 2016 I am not sure they will give you 1st insurance. I have a 2016 Honda PCX150 and they told me 2 years ago I couldn't get first class next year but they still gave it to me so ya never know. PLEASE GET REAL INSURANCE!!!

      How much damage are you going to cause to another vehicle with a 125 bike? Another bike even if it's a total loss (which would surprise me) wouldn't cost that much. If it's a car and the damage you caused is that much, I think you'll prefer to have spent the money on medical insurance.

    never needed to glue grips on ,they should fight tight ,pop in hot water so they expand a bit and slide them on

    • @tempustv
      @tempustv  Před 2 měsíci +1

      I always do at least a wire twist usually along with glue as well. After a few months with no glue they will usually start to move which is a great way to lose the bars mid wheelie... haha Thanks for watching!

    I would like to get a Honda Rukus and lower it when I get out there. GY6!

    • @tempustv
      @tempustv  Před 2 měsíci

      Hahaha it's a hard maybe at this point. It's already pretty stiff and Thailand roads aren't the smoothest so I'm not sure yet. Plenty of Rukus' for sale here too!

    • @Makeitpopp
      @Makeitpopp Před 2 měsíci

      @@tempustv Is there a bike shop near Pattaya you would suggest for customizing a Ruckus or Grom? I'm not going to have all the tools or space to really work on the bike... It's going to be a "point and pay" build. Plus labor is cheaper there than in the US.
