I lost my mom ten years ago and this song happened to come out on my moms birthday. She would have been 64 years old. I went through a deep depression because of it and lost myself for many years. It does get easier through time but it will always hurt. She was my best friend and one hell of a mom. Thank you for this guys itâs helping me though

Hey bro youâre not alone, Iâm here and reading this hurts but be there for your mom a lot. My mom is slowly dying as well and itâs hard to deal with it. All I can do is be there for her and accept the day she goes. Iâve cried a lot on why she cares for a POS husband but she canât bear to have any hate. Love conquers all, stay strong.

Fuck this hit me so hard in the feels. Reminds me of how I felt when I lost my dad in 2019. He was my best friend. I was the one who was doing the CPR compressions on him till EMTs showed. Shaking the images of his death was hard to say the least. Sucks losing someone like that at 19.

I can imagine thatâs been tough. đ€ This song was written from a similar moment in my life (Tyler) where my wife and I had lost a handful of loved ones over a span of 3 years. It felt like itâd never end and it permeated that season in my life with a lot of grief and uncertainty. I wrote this song as kind of a way to process it so it means a lot to see that itâs resonating with other people. Appreciate the kind words!

This song hits close to home, when I was younger there was a cousin I always respected and loved deeply. When he was 14 he ended his life and I was in denial and thought it was a murderer thinking he couldn't have been that depressed when we shared all of those smiles. I never got to see him often, but when I did it was a hell of a time. I will forever mourn the death of what felt like an only friend. Took a piece of me with him, don't talk much about this anymore. Iâve been listening to this on repeat once I found it. My grandma passed in march of this year due to pancreatic cancer and itâs been hard to say the least. Iâve pretty much kept myself occupied with work as much as possible and went on autopilot for the rest of my day. Like a large chunk of my heart was taken overnight.
Going through a time in my life consumed by a huge loss I find myself coming to this song for strength. Thank you for creating such a beautiful piece of music that will reach more hearts than you'll know. Forever a fan.

A truly beautiful song. I like the path the story for this album has been taking so far. Starting out with this backstory of these events on a grand cosmic scale, then focusing down to their impact on one particular person, and their struggles coming to terms with the things they've lost because of events they don't even seem to understand yet. I look forward to them learning more about the mystery and hopefully finding a way to make things better. But with stories like these, that doesn't seem to often be the way things go.
