From what I've seen, Bilbao may be one of the most underrated cities in Europe. It's very dense, walkable, clean and you've got lots of public spaces. It looks like a city designed for people

I lived there 5 years, and yes, Bilbao is the most pleasant city to live. Urban planning is amazing, there are a lot of free public toilets, benches, bike-roads, elevators (there are many hills). Bar culture in Bilbao is something special. And the ocean is nearby, and many places to walk... The best city in the world.
