I think it is wonderful that you are willing to post these videos for your CZcams subscribers even though you have a patreon site. Like many others I have struggled to render white fur. This video was extremely helpful and I am sure that I will watch it numerous times! Even though I consider myself just a beginner when it comes to using colored pencils I have learned so much from your videos.

Qué buena técnica, sin duda es un tutorial muy valioso, ya que viendo trabajar a otro artista se aprende muchísimo, pero el dibujo y la pintura requieren de muuucha práctica para lograr el efecto deseado. Así que, ¡me pondré a ello!

Could you do a tutorial, or do you have one on curly white dog hair/fur of a Bichon Frise dog on white paper. I can’t get my head around all the negative space in the curls. Do you have any tips for drawing white hairs on a black dog? My reference photo is of an elderly black lab who has quite a lot of aging, thus many many white and gray hairs in the face… but on top of the black fur it seems so difficult to do!
That looks amazing! How long did it take you to perfect drawing fur and dogs to this level? Also I want to have a go at this but I only have prismacolour pencils. I've already drawn a dog in Ball point pen.

What is the reason that you do not use a solvent like Zest-it? By the way, you draw wonderfull, but i just was wondering 😉
How do you do the initial pencil sketch? That's always the hardest part for me and minor inaccuracies really show up at the end.
Did you use any solvents to do this image? If not, how do you get this quality without solvents?

Thank you! I always use the most textured side, but with Canson 1557 180grams there isn't a real big difference between the 2 sides though:)
May i ask what you charge for a portrait on a A3 paper like this at the end?
