    HI Sali ! I 've been following your channel for ages, LOVE this new channel ! I loved when you talked about products for dehydrated skin because it seems not many people do. Could you please do a new video on your new favourites for dehydrated skin , and the best makeup tips for this kind of skin! Thanks xo

    I love Sali's approach to beauty and I would really appreciate some advice on how to wear... less make-up! I have dry skin and my foundation always turns cakey, regardless of the brand or formula. Any tips on that would be a lifesaver for me. Thank you!

    Would love more ideas on makeup for older faces. Now I'm 55 I find I need lighter coverage so the fine lines don't show. My skin is in good condition thanks to a strict skincare routine but just want my makeup to look radiant and youthful.

    I absolutely hate my problem skin when wearing make up but don't feel confident enough to go out without anything on. I would love to see advice on suitable foundations for combination skin (my nose is v oily but flaky at same time!), under eye concealing which doesn't exaggerate fine lines and how to conceal adult acne and large pores without flakiness or the make up looking caked on. And all within a reasonable price range if at all possible!

    Hi Sali and greetings from LA! Your vlogs are absolutely super! I look forward to them! Can you PLEASE recommend a good anti-ageing serum for oily skin, or one that's not greasy? I currently am loving Genefique by Lancome! Are there any dupes? Does this serum by Lancome actually do anything for the skin? I love the texture and feel, don't know if it's doing anything though. And it's 175.00 US dollars! Yikes! I'd appreciate hearing from you! I am an Esthetician here in LA, ))hug))

    I love the affordable and practical advice you give in these hire size formats. Could you help me or do a piece that covers my issues. I am a42 year old woman who has only started wearing make up I my late 30's and I feel like I don't know what I am doing. I have moisturised and tried to look after my skin from an early age. I just need some guidance as I have been to various make up counters and never really received what you seem to give to people which is something that is tailor made for them rather than a full face of make up which is scary when you have never really used foundation. I don't mind splashing out on key pieces. I just want a natural look. As I look down a microscope all day it can't be too heavy as it transfers on to my eye pieces. But I would love to learn a day look and an evening look. If I can get the basics right it will give me the confidence in how to use make up.

    Hi sali would you be able to advise on eyeshadow basics? It would be so helpful as its really hard to see where you should be applying without help. What a great video. I have dry dehydrated skin. I use a cleanser acid then face oil and moisturiser but still need to moisturise throughly the day as my face feels tight. I look for glycerin etc in my products but I wonder is there is an order to getting the best out of your products and the correct hydration? X

    • @jenniferbrunek1684
      @jenniferbrunek1684 Před 8 lety

      +stacey Simpson Maybe it's the cleanser you're using. I've noticed that myself, if you use a cleanser that's too stripping for your skin it takes all the moisture out. You could try a cleansing balm, it turns into an oil when you warm it up with your hands and it cleanses your face and at the same time it doesn't strip it.

    • @Bensmummy10
      @Bensmummy10 Před 8 lety

      +Jennifer daar hey thanks for the reply. I predicate when others get involved as the gurus don't always have time to reply. I usually use Emma Hardie Balm after seeing Caroline Hirons use it but changes to the Pixi balm. I wonder if that is the reason? I read all of these pages and watch the videos but can't help think I must be missing something as my face is getting dryer especially my under eye. Makeup looks cakey all the time now 😫 x

    • @jenniferbrunek1684
      @jenniferbrunek1684 Před 8 lety

      stacey Simpson Hmm, I'm not familiar with the Pixi balm but I heard it was good. My skin is pretty oily but also dehydrated and I'm looking into a hydrating serum. Maybe something like that will work for you? Hydrating (gel or overnight) masks are amazing too!
      It's pretty funny because I'm almost 20 and because of CZcams and blogs I know quite a bit about skin care:)

      Hi Dominika! I have oily skin as well! always have! I l think use a good astringent after cleansing, then just a serum (skip the am moisturizer) and use a matte foundation. I think Maybelline has a great one....super matte or something like that......I use it and love it! It comes in a little pot. I happen to love Chanel skincare for oily skin. Hope that helps you. I am an Esthetician and believe me have tried every skincare brand under the sun!

    Hi Sali. Would be great to get some advice on covering redness without makeup ending up looking heavy or cakey. Thanks!

    • @s_shaleh
      @s_shaleh Před 8 lety

      +Emma Hunter You might want to look into the anti-rougeur range from Avene. They are pre-makeup moisturizers which will help to bring down the redness and calm the skin. They come in the light version for oilier skin as well as the richer version for drier skin. For foundation, Clinique has a redness solutions foundation which also has green pigments in it that help neutralize the redness. If you still have any redness peeking through after you've taken these steps, then you can use a heavier duty concealer like Vichy Dermablend or Kevyn Aucoin's sensual skin enhancer or Estee Lauder's double wear maximum cover to conceal only where needed with a small buffing brush or a damp beauty blender. These are very highly-pigmented concealers so a little goes a long way.

    So many people praise the Bobbi Brown corrector Sali, however, I find it collects in little fine lines under my eyes. I use very little & apply with care, but still struggle with this. Are there any alternatives to help correct the grey area under my eyes on my pale & freckly skin please? I see Bobbi do a serum version - perhaps a way forward for me? So more generally, I'd love a video that covers correcting and concealing please. It could cover other areas, not just under eye. Thanks

      @williamrlandry Před 8 lety

      +Kimberley Saint I love the new Intensive Skin Serum correctors and concealers for not creasing on dryer skin and then remember an eye cream is so important. The Bobbi Brown hydrating eye cream actually has a built in makeup primer and is a classic definitely worth trying. Also a great product to set under eye concealers from creasing is the Laura Mercier secret brightening powder (has crushed pearl in it to keep lightness but is so finely milled it doesn't sit into the skin). Hope that helps!
