I’m jealous Danny we don’t have any truly authentic and good Asian /Chinese restaurants in my area: that’s why I go to Vegas! I could eat good rice and rice noodles everyday! Great vid and be safe!

Nice to see a regular Chinese restaurant, not located anywhere near the Strip, still can make excellent tasting food. Was almost worried you wouldn't get to try some of their dishes since not eating family style.

You actually picked the two veggies that I cannot stand, mushrooms and baby corn! I love the broccoli when it is cooked well.
I live in Boulder City and Mexico and been to the restaurant many times, always had great food. Great video 😊

The food looks like it is pretty good. I end up eating in a lot of chinese restaurants like this in small towns due to frequent travels.
I want to open a hot dog stand so Danny can come to my stand and say"what are you famous for " And I say "My foot long of course" Food and travel guys,food and travel.

interesting going out to close early restaurant with a guy who does not eat vegetables, just farm raised shrimp, and mushroom and chicken and beef items-quite limited foodie
The funniest thing here is that DTM got taken out for Chinese AMERICAN food! NOT CHINESE food! LOL! Not to say some of it can't still taste good, but Danny's palate knows what it likes. ;-) Very nice of the couple taking DTM out for a meal; now DTM needs to take THEM out for a REAL CHINESE meal! :-) And stop bothering the woman and her chopsticks skills, she's learning. You watch, she'll be able to catch fly next.

I recommend Pho Saigon 8 and Dakao Sandwiches on Spring Mountain and just west of Lindell. I took one of my professors to Saigon 8 and he is from China and he loved their pho.

Doctor Jones and Short Round...I'm glad Danny has a great sense of humor and is not easily offended like many younger Asians. The food looked okay, but, "a very local place" sounds like code for the clientele where the only Asians in there were Danny and the staff.
I mean it’s a Chinese owned restaurant…why should that matter?
@@TheInvestigativeExaminers206 Chinese owned doesn't mean they serve authentic Chinese food. Edamame is Japanese. Crab Rangoons? A couple of things that don't exist in China...1. The city of Rangoon. 2. Cream cheese. Crab Rangoons are not Chinese. If my friends or coworkers wanted to go to "a very local place", I would be just as gracious as Danny even though they don't serve favorites like beef chow fun or dim sum.
@@philipyow3452 To be fair, the sign on the front of the restaurant does say 'Asian Fusion' and doesn't claim to authentic Chinese. 😊 And Danny the Medic likes Panda Express so it's possible he would love the food here. I mean crab rangoons are delicious. 😋 Krazy Buffet has the best in Vegas IMO.

I find that most of the Chinese restaurants use too much sugar.
those are outrageous prices! usually take one look at soda prices & you can judge how much they're going to jack the prices up. $3.75 for a can a Coke is ridiculous!

Looks like you have to go way out of LV to get really good Chinese food at a decent price. Your Uber fare would destroy the value of the meal.
A lot of people drive through BC to get to Vegas. It’s a very popular spot.
