“Your battery operated Brad Pitt” 😂😂😂
Lol
LEel
💀
Lol for all we know Brad Pitt has a tiny lil dingy.
This show had such great writers.
I love how this classroom full of children, including a teacher and other adults, are completely invested in House's love life like it's a telenovela.
I love the stunned looks of bafflement the adults give House when hearing how he acts in a relationship.
And happily let him continue with the entirely inappropriate story, despite the other parents that hadn't gone yet.
😂😂
well, it kind of IS
Well we are, so it's not that hard to believe they would be.
I just love how the kids were the only ones interested in House’s story, but as he told more, the teacher and adult were getting more and more invested
QQQQQQQ🎃😅🎃😅 qqqqqlqqqqqqlqqqqlll
Any episode where House was telling a story in front of a room of people was always a good episode.
This one's so meta, too. You can hear some of the conversations House has with the kids being carried-out in the writers' room. "We need to focus more on the relationship!", etc.
Wait you mean there was a bad episode?
House, Teacher Extraordinaire would make a great show.
@@rickwhite7270 Nope, because thankfully they never made a season 8.
@@Metal-Possum There were eight seasons of House, but you're right, the end came at the right time.
I love the subtle smirk House gives to the movie kid when he catches the Ghost Busters reference

One of my favorite episodes! And my favorite line. "You're gross & dumb" that little girl delivered the line perfectly
She’s a boss … she grew up on general hospital such a good actress i love her

House getting booed by the entire kids in class really made me laugh
Unless you are referring to a part of the episode that wasn't in this clip, I think you mean "ooooo" when the lady in the back called him an idiot in front of the whole class. It's kind of like when one kid insults another kid on a busy playground. All the other kids around that hear it may get the impression a fight is brewing.
@@jtenorj yeah that one.
@@jtenorj they were saying boo-urns.
He didn’t. What are you even talking about?
@@jtenorj Or rather they just say "oooo" over someone making a remark they found to be particularly "scandalous" or clever. If they think a fight might be brewing, then they simply start chanting "fight" over and over. Unfortunately, I've seen all sides of both scenarios personally.
"Wait, if you only see one patient, what do you do the rest of the day?" This kid be breaking the 4th wall of the House
He could have just told the truth, which is that he is an extreme specialist in diagnostics, and gets the cases other doctors can't figure out.
Love the little smile House gets when the kid understands the Ghost Busters reference.
Hugh laurie is such an incredible actor, he plays these scenes so amazingly especially when it comes to the heartfelt moments House occasionally has 😭
every show Hugh has been in is exceptional. Black Adder, The Night Managaer and even Chance are all fantastic shows. The man never has an 'off' day!
@@coolL9457 genuinely!!!!! And on top of being an incredible actor he also produced music? Hes just an extremely talented individual!
But without the writers this show would have gone nowhere, but yes he was the perfect and only actor for the character. I freaked out the first time I heard him talk on an interview and found out he was British.

Second time I’ve seen that in a week
"Looks like you're the moron"

@@Voidi-Voidlmao what???
Realistically, the scriptwriters were right to make them split, and yet I wish they were together by the end of the show because without Wilson only bitter loneliness awaited House and that's really sad.
I think the actress of Cuddy couldnt work on the set anymore so they had to split up. also for at least the last two seasons writers changed which showed . Everything went overboard with dramatics and it lost its coherence in many aspects. The way he drove into cuddys house or sabotaged the MRI was absolutely not House and the ending with the imo really cheap Sherlock Holmes /Moriarity implication was also as subtle as a Will Ferell comedy. Still we got at least 6 high level seasons out of House and the 7th also had some good moments.
@@listrahtes Nah, she left because of money.
@@listrahtes >>cheap Sherlock Holmes /Moriarity implication
The whole show borrows from Sherlock, starting from the number of House's house (no pun intended :)
>>I think the actress of Cuddy couldnt work on the set anymore
Nah, I guess it's just House's character. Realistically, he couldn't be with anyone, because being House really meant having everything his way or the highway and that never works in a relationship (unless it's very specific). If they'd remained a couple, it would have been a very artificially-crafted happy ending and fans wouldn't have forgiven that.
I do agree that S07 and 8 are way downhill, though, and I never rewatch them.
@@cursedsailor7473 could also be but she left and had to be written out. That was my point

Cuddy is smokin' hot, yet still single as she nears 40. That doesn't happen to a woman who actually wants someone who cares, it happens to women who are bored by good guys.

Well gotta love how he goes to a school full of innocent kids on career day just to get dating advice. He knows kids don't lie, too innocent for it. Adults do tho and he knows that doesn't make them trustworthy enough for dating advice.
Either way, it makes for a good heartwarming ending.
Kids lie all the time
I found it weird for House to have a normal conversation with a patient when he usually tries to avoid them unless absolutely necessary
He invented it just to mess with the teacher.
or if the patient is crazy
it's a ploy.... when someone keeps poking their nose into your business and you are really not interested in them or their sad little lives.

That kid saying “ghostbusters” only to have house smirk approvingly has just made me so happy 😂
“You’re gross…& dumb” I swear, kids are best to vent to, they will tell you how it is & not sugarcoat anything 😂
That stung a bit more than I was expecting when she said "You need me, you might even love me, but you don't care about me." 🙃😞
That young actress & her character, too, are gems! She was cast as Molly on General Hospital for years.
I knew she looked familiar
She won a lot of Young Artist Awards for her soap opera acting career.
You gotta love it when some complete outsider is able to call out House's bullshit.
This episode is a gold mire. From 'I didn't poison [a room full of people], I just mixed hydrogen sulphide and ammonia...' to the caricatures he makes of his team, the movie references, and this piece of dialogue about the patient coughing up a lung.
Kid in the class: How's that even possible?

Here's to hoping House didn't narrate "How about a small tossed salad" to the classroom
Safe to say he did
I’m surprised no kid pointed out that someone on a diet would prefer salad. But I guess that ruins the gross metaphor

Somewhat reflects on House's character of him being childish that even literal children point it out
I really love it when House does the interactive story telling and gets the whole community involved. It's so wholesome.
Won't let him talk about the vibrator, but will let him go on about his love life lmao
Who in their right mind would send House to speak in front of elementary school kids?
This is great video because it gets SLIGHTLY closer to the truth of narcissists/psychopaths/OCPD than a normal House episode. They aren't always smarter than anyone else. They may even have dumber, worse ideas and create bigger, lumbering problems, but this video at least highlights the selfishness, overstepping of boundaries, denial that their behavior is problematic to the person setting boundaries, and now "hoovering" aka pretending to care so that they can sink their hooks back into the person who is trying to cut the psychopath out of their lives. I LOVE the show House, though, lol. It's silly and absurd and I have learned things about biology that ended up being true. There is even truth that entertaining little to no empathy for others can keep the mind free of distractions to focus on solving individual problems. However, Almost always these personality disorders are based in fear and insecurity of losing control of others... like a really messed up sense of FOMO.
Ocpd? Don't think that's meant to be there, those aren't traits of that, just narcissism in fact.
OCPD is a high regard for rule, pattern, beurocracy in a sense and inability to experience life without order and control, it may involve narcissism or manipulating (what mental disorder doesn't have that possibility, for ocpd it may be pedantry or rule enforcement) but it may rather be isolating/avoiding or a ln unwarranted/arbitrary/unsolicited adherence to an 'authority', inability for originality, NOT an understanding of emotions, thinking almost algorythmically, difficulty in manipulating others...its explocitly fearful. Obviously it can follow OCD traits too.
House is opposite of OCPD.
There are other characters who have a 'bit' of this, but house is completely unrestrained!
Are you a psychiatrist or psychologist?
Well said!
I was in a relationship with a narcissist and it was horrible. The hoovering was REAL.
Psychopaths are not all narcissists
Pretty sure the interaction of a real classroom with House would not go that way, lol
They all too calm :D i don't believe
lol yeah pretty sure my sons class is never that calm and attentive...especially with my son there.
Exactly how good can an actor be? There has to be a limit right? Hugh Laurie is literally a legend
Look up the word "litterally" in a dictionary. I think he's a great actor too, but he's not Robin Hood or King Arthur Pendragon.
That lil girl with the bruise on her eye. She’s exactly like my cousin. Same attitude and thinks shes always right. We had a similar conversation and to this day she still says, “Your dumb Ray, and the fact you behave like this is the reason why you have no girlfriend.”

@@squanchmastersquanch4376 Maybe switch it up, get yourself a guy. Women can be a handful. At least guys can relate better. 🤷♂️
She hasn't been wrong yet.
I never "got" what Cuddy was expecting from House - she, of all people, should be well aware of his foibles. Was she expecting him to immediately become the man of her dreams, upon her entering a relationship with him? If so, he's not the immature one in that relationship.
It's a tale as old as time: woman finds wild man, tries taming him, fails.
@@hoon_sol woman finds "good man", figures out he's lame and dumps him
@@hoon_sol Or self-aggrandizing "wild man" enters into a relationship and immaturely decides that doesn't require any kind of change or compromise on his part because he's oh-so-special. Relationships are work. They're not for the lazy.
If you had a friend that never made any effort in your friendship, how long would you stick it out?
Having "foibles" is not an excuse for not making an effort, and "foibles" are not outside of the ability to implement some degree of compromising moderation.
Entering a relationship of any kind always demands some degree of change on the part of everyone involved. Kinda pointless, otherwise.
@@michaelccozens but compromise is very different from expecting house to just give up his entire personality of who he has always been for some version of himself that even cuddy would grow to question over time. She knew how he has been for years and years, not months or a couple of years. I’m not saying change isn’t expected somewhere, I’m saying there are certain aspects of him he would never be able to let go because that make up who he is and she knew that, relationship or not. She just thought that if she was in a relationship with him, she could control him more lol than she had already tried to because this time he’d fear losing her. She’s just as much to blame for the break up, I’d say a tad bit more, as he is.
“I was myself” probably is the best line

They destoryed what House and Cuddy could've had. I get it that Lisa wanted to leave due to salary but they could've did something better
I have to sometimes wonder if actors ever question the wisdom of their agents. It was clear in the Season 7 finale that the Cuddy character was going to become less important in what they all knew was going to be the final season. In fact, I really don’t know how the writers were going to believably keep her in the storyline. So she wants a big raise? Instead, she’s out of a job making zero from House MD. Doesn’t sound very smart to me.
It’s not that she wanted a raise.
Her salary was going to be cut some so Olivia could be paid more in order to keep her on the series.

House and Dead Like Me were my two favorite shows from the moment i first watched 5 minutes into an episode, the writers and the actors put everything together so neatly and carefully they pulled off so much you have to go back and rewatch it a few times just to have enough time to think about everything you saw and heard going on but there was too much going on just quick enough to keep you from hanging on any one particular thing in your thought. half my family works in the medical field from engineers to minor medical staff with childrens hospital pfizer and medtronic, ev3, st judes, boston scientific, express scripts.
drug wise and procedural wise this show is a train wreck with using things that would never be used because they have nothing to do with any of it, other then being a buzz word paid promotion by the manufacturer to use in the show, so i always got a good laugh out of stuff like that especially when the commercial break came and was immediately about something used in the show and they got to the end of the ad and rambled thru the don't use for-side effects are part.
