    What is the difference between this and your shed base grids?

    I’d like to do this on existing tarmac. What is the significance of the grids?

  • @pnewe9428

    Quick question, I’ve watch other videos on this and a lot of them say put hardcore down then sand and use a whacker plate on the tiles before putting stones down.
    Is it better at doing it that way or the way you said?
    Also how long are the tiles on sale for?

    • @ibrangroup
      @ibrangroup  Před 3 lety

      Hey, as this surface was pre-levelled we didn't need to compact the area. What you've seen elsewhere about using a whacker/compactor to level and screed sand is absolutely correct.
      We've outlined the full installation procedure on our website at www.ibran.co.uk/blogs/all-posts/how-to-install-your-gravel-parking-grids
      The current sale price was launched only 2 weeks ago, as we've had a more favourable price on our granulated recycled plastic, so currently we can pass that saving on.

      @@Nojnasaam hey, yes you can install them on a slope up to 12.5° which is quite steep! Just make sure to fill them right up

    Hi. Are these strong enough to put a garden room on. 5m x 3.5m . Thanks

      Hey Jason, yes absolutely! We do offer these as a building base kit which is on the website.

    Hi. Will this be effective for small pathways and alternatives for outside seating areas?

    • @ibrangroup
      @ibrangroup  Před 3 lety +1

      Absolutely! They give the firm footing of a patio slab with the look and texture of a gravel pathway.

    Odd question but is driving over it noisy like completely loose gravel?? Or is it nice and compact??

    • @ibrangroup
      @ibrangroup  Před 3 lety +1

      Not quite as noisy but it would have a gravel sound when driven over. It helps reduce it as the stones are more bound and compacted.

  • @donski8687
    @donski8687 Před 2 lety

    Do you not need hardcore under the grid ? Does it just need to be solid and level ..

    • @ibrangroup
      @ibrangroup  Před rokem +1

      The ideal installation would require hardcore/sub base to prevent movement under pressure. Getting the sub base level through compaction is also fundamental to it not moving.

      Hi John, yep no problem. Just fill in any big cracks with some sand and ensure there's a good edge to protect the vertical faces at the ends :)

      Hi, yes the spacing in the mesh is designed to prevent wheelchairs getting stuck. As such it's been approved and assessed as building regs part m compliant for accessibility.
