ill be honest, i havent heard of you before. however, that wildcard was sick!
Stitch and gene is proof that you dont need to be the fastest to get in. clean and simple beats with good structure will do the job

It’s more about what they did in their “simple” beats. Gene uses excellent vocal agility that other beatboxers can’t and has perfect pitch control on lip oscillations. Stitch has a unique sound no one else can do as well as great polyphonic pitch control.

I swear i feel so bad that the judges had such a limited amount of spots and such a big pool of talent. It was probably extremely difficult and not everyone was going to be happy. Big ups to the judges for making the hard decisions

I don't envy the judges at all. Pash, Improver, Footbox, and Den must've especially painful to pass on. But this just speaks to the insanely high level of this year's wildcards more than anything else

The only thing I would really change is Alem. He's a legend, and I don't mean any disrespect, but I do think that other people simply had better wildcards. However, I will say, I think he's probably the beatboxer to be scared of the very most in the competition. Anyone up against him has the tall task of somehow matching up to an insane amount of energy, stage experience and technical ability.
Pretty much he is boss battle, surely others had better wildcards and I agree on your point. Nonetheless GBB is gonna be lit!!

😔I think Den over Alem, but this list is still pretty sick and I agree with everything else. Den is still pretty new and a lot of people discovered him from his wildcard, so I have a lot of hope for him in the future. He’s one of those people for me that I think are very accessible to people that aren’t that into beatbox. His musicality will transcend and grow the beatbox scene! Much love to all of the winners! ❤️

Can't argue with any of these choices, SBX had a hard job to pick from these entries.
2020's wildcards were insane (before the cancellation of GBB) but it's like all beatboxers took the opportunity of lockdowns to just level up through the roof!
While I'm personally rooting for Show-Go (as I always do!) I've got to say River has been one to watch since the 2019 7 to smoke where he aced it, something about his performances then and ever since have gone into some other realm.
Gonna be a classic contest this, good look to all entrants 👍 ESH!
