It’s chest bass but you have to squeeze the sound more and make it more of growl. Hard to explain, but there’s a tutorial on it by someone called RunOneQuick. He calls it the jaynkins chest bass. If you listen to the texture, it is extremely similar to Max’s chest bass. His one is just really developed. I think CLR also does a similar bass which is also chest bass. Im quite sure it’s not inward bass since the bass is too airy to be inward. It has the flexibility of chest bass, just with a much different texture.
