I've been a Maze fan since 1977, and I've never seen Frankie Beverly play a guitar! 7/3/23 Needed my Maze fix today! I just found out Frankie passed away in 2019! I am sad! 😢
All I can say is timeless....just timeless. I know one day Frankie will be gone and all we will have left is his music. You've blessed us with a wonderful gift Mr. Beverly and we're all better off for it! I was there also! Maze, the Ojays and Larry Graham and Grand Central Station are the best live group performances that I’ve seen. Maze always gave wonderful performances. I at the concert in LA also. Those were great times.

Ms Loretta, Yes, me too. I was 15 years old and at my brother-in-law's house party in Oxon Hill, MD when I fell in love with Maze. I thought that I was gonna marry Frankie when I got old enough. I also remember there was one year that I saw Maze in concert at least 4 times and had a good time, each time. I was still in the Air Force at that time. I wasn't a groupie though. I was in the Air Force and take leave whenever they came to a town near me.

Have followed this fantastic band from the early 70's in Philadelphia before they released their first album. They use to play local clubs and recreation centers. They were very popular in Philly and would burn the house down when they performed, We loved it. Of course they later moved out west to California started recording and now have a loyal following of more than 40 years and can still burn the house down.
This is my group. Was saddened to hear of the passing of the percussionist "Bug". I liked watching him during a concert...he was so energetic. All are great musicians. May Bug rest in peace...the legacy lives on!
This is and was the best soul group of all times,YES even today there's no other group out i know that can touch Frankie Beverley and Maze. These guys make your spirit move in so many ways. Their music cheers me up and brings a smile to my face when i am down. Long may they reign.

This is classic Frankie Beverly and Maze feel good music. I have seen them live in concert once. The entire audience was up on their feet singing along with each song from the beginning to end. It was a magical phenomenal experience.

I saw Maze at the Greek Theater in 1981 for a Budweiser Summer Jam concert and Quincy Jones was there with a guy named Michael Jackson who was introduced as a special guest and performed the Moon walk for the first time before the Grammy's. Oh yeah! I was there son.
I was blessed to see Frankie & Maze back in the 70's in Oakland. They were awesome. I'm so happy that they stil perform for the younger generation can see quality music last forever.

That cool, laid back yet smooth and not too funky music beat and the lyrics "Feeling that you feel in your eye" and whatever else he says after that is why this is my favourite song by them.
