One of the most instructive, informative and watchable videos I have ever seen and it's given me the faith to tackle similar work as regards kits, rtr models are very good these days but the feeling of building your own cant be beaten.

I've made many model aircraft, boats etc mostly in wood. This video has tempted me into trying metal modelling. Have placed my first order for a simple Tank Locomotive. Hope I don't get my fingers too burnt?

A question, after you install the gearbox and slide in the wheel axle, how do you fix the gear of the gearbox on the axle? Is there any screw? Or using glue/ solder?
There's a little grub screw in the gear, which you just lighten onto the axel

Find a mate who wants to build one too so you have someone to help you

Out of curiosity, I'd love to make an HO scale model of the Legend of Zelda's, Spirit Train, from Spirit Tracks and I'd love to get my hands on a chassis like the south eastern fine cache chassis that you showed off 4 minutes and 31 seconds into the video. If it's not to much of a bother, could you please point me in the direction of where I can get a chassis with that same 0-4-0 wheel configuration? Thank you very, very much in advance.

But not working on my phone March 2023.
