Ive had the TH45 for several months now. Taurus did a good job with this gun. A great shooter
Is it real wide?
Good post thank you. Is it optic ready ?
@@paleo704No
The 10mm version is supposed to hit stores in less than a month.
👀
Wow, where did you see this? Thanks for the heads up.
Let’s hope! I’ve been waiting for years for it. I have a th9c, great little gun for $300.
AFAIK, the 10mm Taurus is a myth. Don't hold your breath waiting on one.
Yeah so the interesting thing on that...just got my TH 45 and the instruction manual has data for the other TH calibers, including listing 10 mm. The intent is there.
Hickock is the coolest!!! Been watching since 2010 and EVERY video is pure gold!!
Thanks for another cool review Hickok! I love the Tauri I have - G3 and G3C, 44 Tracker. My Glock 21 actually weight a little less than that TH45 - 26.1 oz. It absorbs recoil just fine. I like the recoil of the 45 ACP.
Great video, once again! I love your honesty and keeping it real! No BS and a true review! Thx Hickok!
I own 3 of Taurus G series guns ....All run great...Im very impressed with Taurus we are living in the Golden age of Guns Right Now!😊
Brazilian gun Taurus. He has big numbers in USA market
Im a new Taurus owner. MP , Glocks, FNs mostly in my handgun arsenal. I'm glad you gave an honest Taurus TH45 review.
Thanks Hickok. I've owned several Taurus firearms over the years. My favorite is my PT99AF (Beretta).
Great video and thanks as always.
I bought a TX-22 in early 2020 and I've 'sold' about 5 of them to various friends and family. Everyone who shoots it LOVES the dang thing! It takes down easy, shoots reasonably accurate, that huge capacity. Always goes bang (even on some Remington Golden Bullets I had from the late 90s!)
And you can take it down and clean it just like a Glock basically. And this 45 looks great too. Nobody is making Taurus jokes anymore!
I have it older 9mm sister, PT809. Taurus had stepped up their quality. Haven't fired any of their new revolvers, the old ones had alignment issues.
Whoo-Whee Hickok..!! What A Way To Start A Tuesday Morning..!! Thanx So Much For Your "Special Brand Of Tennessee Therapy"..😅
Youre a true legend Hickock!!
You are a hell of a shooter.. love the content you put out on these hand guns..
I enjoyed the leaves falling in the background.
Taurus has definitely stepped their game up, I got the g2, man in all honesty it's shoots as good as my glock
The Taurus pt917c was my favorite Taurus model.
I loved that chunky bastard.
Heard last month they're gonna have a re-release of it. Loved the frame mounted safety/decocker much better than the slide mounted design.
It's out on the market. I've seen it in "blue" finish. I picked one up years ago then came across a stainless one shortly after. It's basically a compact pt92fs with a rail.
Thank you, and Merry Christmas.
Hey there @hickok45 thanks to you and John for all the great work making all the videos I’ve watched over the past 8 years I believe I am a huge fan from New Orleans. I was just wondering if you guys ever did a video on the Taurus 10mm yet.
I bought this Th-45 Oct.28, 2023. Had a problem with loose mags.Called taurus Cust. Service they have no mags or accessories for this Firearm. Tried my friends mags of same gun fit perfect. Crazy how Taurus sells a Firearm ,but cant even ship replacement mags. Th-45 was released July of 2023. To bad i cant shoot mines at the range til i get the mags. 🤔 Good review Hickok from Louisville. Kentucky
Taurus has definitely improved their design and quality control in recent years. I've owned and primarily EDCd the TH40C for nearly 2 years. I threw a green laser and Talon grips on it and I haven't had as much as a hiccup with at least 1000 rounds through it this far. Great gun!
@roderickthomas8224....Ive recently bought the TH40C. Other than the grips and laser, did you modify anything else? I'd like to find an adjustable trigger for it,. Any chance you can point me in a good direction? TYIA
So barely broke in? I have owned Taurus Firearms for years never had a single issue.
They have this in 9mm, 10mm, .40 cal, and .45 cal
@@erictaylor186 I haven't done anything else to mine. I don't have an idea of an alternate trigger but I would like to find out about one myself.
Two REVOLVERS......HOT GARBAGE
Taurus has come a long way recently. 👍
I have the GX4 and tx22 both really good guns👍
I own a 605 revolver and it's had 0 issues
@@rossgreenzweigI’ve heard their revolvers are tanks so I bought a judge and it’s been a great kayak gun for water moccasins. It’s been dropped in the river, the mud, the dirt, and used as a hammer once and it still runs flawlessly.
Yes they have .Hard to beat for the prices.
@@jacobkean03 Pretty good for a boat gun. Nice to have something you can beat the hell out of and still rely on.
I greatly enjoyed and appreciated the video. as a reloader of 44years knowledge and experience of many calibers I always like to find my limitations then load back to reasonable safe loads for hunting and self defense. I have a Taurus pt- 845in 45acp +p 13 shot.looking at my cronygraphed records .using starline 45super brass my carry ,self defense hunting loads are 185gr xtp 1158 t01198 fps, 551 t0 590ft/lb and 255 grwide deep hp from gt bullets 926 t0 953 fps with 498 t0517 ft/ lb.with a supported barrel. operating flawlessly and accurately. this is my personal loads and don't recommend anyone reloading this loads without calling the manufacturer and speak to a technical. I recently bought the new rossi brawler 45colt/ 410single shot. I won't say how far I loaded but after getting home trying to estimate the psi I thanked my heavenly father for it not blowing up and promised to never load that gun that hot again. so I'll keep down t91001 fps with 566 ft/ lb with a hunter supply 250gr lrn hp and a good hunting load. papa wishing you well. 😊
It looks like it's finally time to upgrade from my old PT140 Mil Pro EDC. Thanks for this.
I have several Taurus fire arms, a G2 that I carry and a T66 357 revolver, they both are smooth and have never let me down
I been watching you for 7 years now, just wanted to drop in to thank you for all your videos.
Pumpkins on the roll, and pot smoking! Life is good watching Hickok45👍
Thx Hickok45!! Yes Taurus give them a chance
Awesome video nice taurus Th 45 that might be my next gun thanks for sharing Hickok45
I had a PT 24/7 DA SA , it actually was a damn good gun , I carried a HK Sig and CZ so it was my daily truck gun
I have the th9 from taurus 2000 rounds through it all types of ammo used no problems at all it is a smooth gun compared to more expensive pistols
I’m considering it….. thanks for the video. Gotta get my hands on one 😊
I have a Taurus PT92 and it's one of the smoothest shooting pistols I've owned.
I like this TH45, I'm gonna look into it.
Cheers
Got one myself and like it.
I've been looking at the pt92, love the look of it. I have 2 carry guns, just wanted a big ol full size for fun.
@sakfpv8444 you'll love the PT92, I've had mine for 2 years now and it devours 9mm with no problems!!
Hell no. The Tisas 1911 is the same price and is better quality and runs flawless
@@sakfpv8444 Definitely check them out. I have the stainless one with a nickel slide. It's smooth looking
True American icon right here boys glad to have lived in the times of Mr.45
Finally!!! Thank you Hickok! I’ve owned this since the first week it came out and I have about 400~500 rounds through it without a single hiccup. I got it from Bud’s myself
Did it come with 1 magazine or 2
@@Dragon_Camp_Cooking_~~~ It came with two
@@EzyB409nice. Can you easily put a red dot on it ?
It is a shooting mofo any bullet profile too
Thank for the feedback I’m getting one
They have full size and compact 9mm. And the compact is a THC9 so it should smoke pot😂. Really appreciate your humor you always add 👍
*th9c. But I see what you did there.
Good one..
Don't forget the TH40 and TH40c. The compact was my EDC for three years, and it was absolutely rock-solid reliable.
I used to shop at Widner's when I was regularly working in the Johnson City / Jonesborough. Back then they were a small shop but a great place for well priced ammo.
I have a th9, th40, th45 and a th10 all have functioned perfectly and are very accurate!
Sweet a 45acp pistol!!! Thanks Taurus for showing the 45 some love amongst all the 9mm Luger craze
Like you, I wasn’t aware of the TH line but I do appreciate some BamB controls. Thanks for the heads up.
Mr. Hickok I'd say you're a national treasure, but I'm not American, so I suppose I can only say you're an international treasure.
The ric flair of the gun world
Taurus really has improved. They also have great customer nservice.
This is one I've had my eye on for a little while. Thanks for putting it through its paces. I always appreciate it when I can get the opinion of someone I trust to offer a good one.
By the way, I didn't see a review of the Diamondback Sidekick on your channel. Maybe I missed it, but I'd be interested in seeing what you think of it. It's a revolver that competes pricewise with the Heritage Rough Rider or Ruger ... whatever it's called. It's .22LR or .22WMR: the extra cylinder comes with it. It's double or single action, and the it's a swing-out cylinder. So it's something of a budget modern revolver in plinking cartridges, but it's 9-shot, so you get more plink for your money, I guess. I'd love your opinion of it.
OH WOW! They did it, Taurus effectively reissued the old PT845, it looks almost identical! I knew when Taurus brought out the TH9 line, they were nearly identical to the old PT809s, I knew they could reissue the PT845 as well! Thank you Hickock45 for reviewing this!
It is always good to have a good Bud to loan you some guns.
And I also forgot to mention that it is impossible to locate any extra mags. It does come with two magazines with 13 round capacity but if you want to buy any extras, it is impossible to locate them even from the Taurus, website they are not available.
Yet...gun just came out!
Gun mag warehouse, found them in a minute, give them a try.
i had a PT845 and got rid of it for the same reason, almost impossible to locate additional mags.
Buy a 2nd pistol, and now you have 4 mags! :)
@@mdd1963 Plus you can't go wrong holding 2 45s. New york reload or both at the same time, it's all positive.
Appreciated the video Sir, enjoyed & helpful. Like the way they make it slimmer then Glock
So refreshing to see you do this firearm. .thank you.
Your a legend.....
A double-stack 45 ACP with an external hammer for about four bills? Ruh-roh, the wife isn't going to be happy.
Sir, haven’t seen a video of yours in over a year. So good to see you again !!! Hoping you review the TH10.
I hope it's because you've been in prison! :-)
I've got nothing but good things to say about the G series of pistols, this looks very interesting.
I like all of my Taurus revolvers and semi autos. This looks like another great one from them and I'm seeing $411 at Bud's. Good price! I like the low bore axis - you can get your hand right up under the bore for best recoil management. Thanks for another great review Hickok! Oh and I saw your comment on Paul Harrell's last vid - you are a class act sir - but then, we already knew that.
I had a TH9 and loved it shot the crap out of it. Sold it to get a new lever action A Mossberg 464 SPX 30-30. I kinda regret selling the TH9 but I sold it to a friend, so I still get to shoot it from time to time. The Mossberg 464 I bought was a great trade up. I have the 2019 version with all the updated features Runs flawless. The six position stock on the SPX was cool at first but the novelty of it wore off after a year, so I bought a Boyds strait stock and replaced the six position stock. Anyway I really liked the TH9 and I have wanted a a .45 for years might have to look into getting one of these. The only problem is MSRP is $500 for another hundred you could get. A Springfield 1911.
I’ve had Taurus hand guns for years with no issues. In my opinion you can’t beat ‘em for the price!
I have the TH9 and it's awsome it comes with extra grips and 2 clips..
You are one great pistol shot. !!!
I got the 40 for my every day, i love it. You the man og
This gonna be my next one I think. I was looking at a gx4 but this is even better
He makes it look so easy!
I think its time to let go of the Taurus issues of the past.. those issues were like 20 years ago.
I still have my PT145 ...not one problem after the last 10yrs of owning it..I'll check this one out
Look at the leaves coming down! Beautiful fall day to shoot. What a nice setting, what more could a man ask for?
I've owned three different Taurus pistols and have had zero issues with any of them. I owned a Taurus 357 revolver some years ago and it was very accurate and trouble free. I currently own two semi auto Taurus pistols and they've both cycled every type of ammo I've fed them, about 2000 rounds fired between them. I've fed them hollow points, FMJ and even exotic ammo like Fort Scot TUI. No issues whatsoever. You can get a lemon in anything or any brand, even very high dollar ones. Watch Honest Outlaw, he's had a few high dollar stinkers. I like mine and would definitely buy Taurus again.
I used to be a gun dealer I owned mini Tauruses and never had one issue with any one of them my brother who is not very smart but a used Taurus screwed it up send it back they fixed it for free had it back less than a week
Great video Hickok! I'm with you, never heard of this one??
Looks like a great gun. Thanks
Its crazy to think ive been watching hickock 45 for i think 14 years
This might be the first Taurus that interests me, I think they have a winner here if it’s reliable. I love that they are going back to hammer fired guns!
I saw how they came out with a 10mm version of this and it. Looks. SICK! I really hope other manufacturers come out with more DA/SA 10mm pistols.
The festive season is fully underway, remember whilst you in the midst of having a great time and kicking back, there's those around us that are always on the prowl,
Be mindful, sharpen your situational awareness, always 1 up and God forbid it's your time to fight, I wish you a fast and accurate shot placement this festive season and always,
A very Merry 230 grain Christmas
Hey Hickock, if it "smokes pots", maybe they should have named it the THC .45!
I have the TH9, about $260 at my LGS. Stapleguns have a better DA pull but SA is liveable. It has a great grip and I like the controls. I have a PX4 Storm and a 92X, they have better DA triggers but I shoot the TH9 just as well in SA. The grip just works for me.
If I were woken up in the middle of the night a DA/SA gun is what I would reach for. The DA first shot I think is a great safety factor.
It really is. I understand why people like light SA triggers in range guns, but when if I was a little jumpy and terrified (yeah I know that's just me, everyone else under fire would be cool and calm like John Wick crossed with The Terminator), I'd rather have a long, heavy DA trigger for that first shot. Once shot #1 leaves the barrel, you've either effed up big time...or else you want a lot more shots to follow #1 ASAP. That's why I like DA/SA.
Best gun reviewer on CZcams 👍
Most good lookin' too
i have a taurus th9 and is a really nice pistol never had a problem with it and being left handed being fully ambi is one reason i prefer it
Another beautiful day of hickok45 good morning brother from the AZ mountains 🌄🏜️🐓. I'm loving how she sounds and looks in specs might check her out.
Hahaha there goes pumpkin head of Galloping Hessian on the splits, but no need fear steer for 45. Is here 🎃😄🧡.
I heard Taurus was in the making of a TH 10 mm.or a 10mm in the next in the TH series Thanks for the video update
I have one here in Brazil. Its a nice gun. Excelente grip and capacity.
I got the th9 on the way I love Taurus can’t wait
Nice gun. Best regards from Germany 🙂
Thanks for sharing
I own a few Taurus pistols. I've never had an issue yet, good quality guns.
Love Ballistol... a great product
Had the th40, its a good gun. Didn’t have single problem out of it.
I am a Taurus owner. I have a THC9 9mm. GREAT GUN
Great Review...I am one who owns all the G series guns and have no issues Taurus making great guns Today!😊❤️
Watched this video the day it was uploaded. Yesterday I went into my local gun store looking for some 9mm and walked out with one of these for $ 399.
Life is good brother!
Awesome!
Taurus are well made guns. I own a couple and they seem to perform just as good as my Smith and Wesson and Ruger made pistols.
I have a G3 and it works very well and I like how it feels in my smaller hands.
First time I seen one and I'm sold on it you can never have enough 45s
The best sir...
Outstanding!
I currently own a Taurus G39, awesome gun, I also used to have the G2 c and G2 s which were both great as well 🤟🍻
Like to try the 45 though
same...I have multiple Taurus G39 never had an issue with them
Bravo Hickok, from Russia, from Sam. obl, from Toljatti...
Like your videos and also the movie you was in too called Strain 100
I’m glad you did a video on this because this is a gun I’ve been considering (in 40 cal) I have seen very little info on this series.
Bought a th9 three years ago and glad I did.
@@omarslim3362 2000 + rounds through it. It's my EDC. Two light strikes in a batch of 600 PMC bronze 9mm, the primers were sitting super shy. No malfunctions otherwise. Those mec gar magazines are great.

I LOVE YOU HICKOK45
Awesome video
Hickok switched my thoughts on Taurus
