Frankie lost his edge in recent years but in his prime he was absolutely brutal. And the audience annihilation video shows just how savage he is towards the audience.

We won’t allow Jimmy Carr to be cancelled, anyone that tries will be immediately cancelled or go bust from being economically self destructive. We need to preserve freedom because without humour this world will be dogshit.
Even David Cameron, when he called him out over his tax avoidance, he got a lot of backlash for singling Jimmy out.
Jimmy Carr is proof that "cancelling" is way overblown. Under practically every video of his stuff people talk about cancel culture, but I've never seen anyone actually offended. The hordes of people waiting to end a comedian's career over a joke just don't exist.
Saw the work in progress for Jimmy's latest tour a couple of weeks ago. Still the same content. Still a mix of laughs and winces.
I think they're probably a lot less risky in the UK and Australia.

@@paulbromley6687 The jokes are nowhere near as risky in Australia, UK, NZ etc because the USA is in a situation where everyone is hypersensitive and many jokes, people's actions and words are perceived as being malicious. Sometimes for good reason, but it's generally more chill, and our shared sense of humour makes these 'risky' jokes a whole lot less risky.
He does do this today..and arguably worse... British comedians don't care about cancel culture
Jimmy's laugh is legendary. He has always pushed boundaries, still does, no apologies. He is a really lovely person and incredibly smart, the comedy is his job and he excels at it. He does a lot of TV also, panel show host extraordinaire. '8 out of 10 cats', '8 out of 10 cats does Countdown', 'Big Fat Quiz', recommend checking them out, even just for yourself, you will LYAO! These are still the gags that Jimmy runs, the UK & Australia haven't been totally overrun by the p/c & Karen brigades, probably the last bastions of the English speaking world that still have some freedom of speech.(although they're trying to shut us all down)
We have an irreverent, dark sense of humour, that brings us together during bad times, it's all just banter, we're like this between mates.

He is still doing it. The rest of the world is not permaoffended as an average American nowadays
He's still performing and doing "risky" jokes. He has also done shows in the US. His shows are big, and with youtube videos available, if you go to his show without knowing his humor you have nobody to blame but yourself. Obviously, again considering the size of his shows, people go knowing what they are in for. Jimmy has figured out you can't be cancelled if you don't care about the flak and you can still fill large venues with fans that like dark/risky humor.

No matter what colour you are or what the joke is about they are just jokes, there are jokes about everything in life just laugh take them as joke and move on do not take the jokes to heart. I live in the UK and seen couple of his shows very funny guy.

Loved your reaction, watching you trying not to laugh. Jimmy Carr is a brilliant comedian. You really really need to check out his responses to hecklers, he activity seeks hecklers out to cut them into pieces. Its similar to the risky jokes but cranked up to 11. Unbelievable put downs.

As others have said cats does countdown. Count down is a really buttoned down strait laced game show about words and maths. Jimmy does a late night version where everyone except the regular staff are professional comedians usually with no aptitude for maths. During the 30 seconds timed to perform the maths jimmy puts on an outrageous act. All the anagrams of words to be solved are somehow rude.
This is his usual material.

"Deadpan" (sort of) is Jimmy's delivery style, Teck, that's why you had the disconnect between what you originally saw, and comedy. As far as my personal top ten comedians of the present era, Jimmy would be right up there. I love the way he deals with "hecklers" in his live shows, and he doesn't really hold back when doing television either.

While this is a few years old now. Yes jimmy 100% still does jokes like this, i nfact some of these are quite tame for him
You should watch Little Britain, very funny and almost every sketch is very borderline everything lol, unfortunately people cry too easily these days and we will never have comedy like it used to be. Some jokes might be almost racist or sexist ect but that's just it, its jokes.
Ricky Gervais is another with risky jokes like Jimmy Carr, you should check him out also :)

Still about today and quite a normal British comedian with jokes often being a play on words.
You know you shouldn't laugh but the punchline get you anyway... And the second punchline when you're not expecting it. The jokes are about horrible things but they are not the thing.
If you like the older style uk comedy check out freddy Starr and Muhammad Ali it's priceless

I'm from the UK , not a great fan of him, he's too arrogant and mean for me , he just says shock stuff,not jokes,but he's popular so I'm in the minority! I recommend The Mitchell and Webb experience ,now that's very well thought out and very funny comedy xxx
