Family Matters is an American television sitcom that debuted on ABC on September 22, 1989, and ended on May 9, 1997. However it moved to CBS, where it was shown from September 19, 1997, to July 17, 1998. A spin-off of Perfect Strangers, the series revolves around the Winslow family, a middle class black family living in Chicago, Illinois. Midway through the first season, the show introduced the Winslows' nerdy neighbor Steve Urkel (Jaleel White), who was originally scripted to appear as a one-time character. One of my favorite tv show when i was a kid. I still love watching the re runs even i am already in the 60. Love it so much and it brings back good memories. Sad a lot of the cast has passed away. Please enjoy life every minute...we don't know when our time will come....

The television show called family matters it has the cast including Reginald Val Johnson Jo-marie Payton Kellie Shanygne-Williams Darius McCrary Shawn Harrison Thelma Hopkins and Jaleel White. They are incredible talented actors with a great sense of humor and great success in television.
