Nice to see you guys work it together. Steve, one way to fix the one touch top is to lean it a bit hard into a tree by " accident" at RC. BTW didn't want to rain on your parade day 1, but I thought you would get to a point that you hated that thing. It is a conundrum. We want ease and convenience, but we also want it to feel like open air. When I had my TJ, I eventually removed to floor plugs, removed the carpet, put in rubber floor mats, put in a bikini top and a toneau to cover the rear with the rear seat folded. My half hard, half soft doors were removed and placed in the garage. I had full soft doors that broke down in half and my mirrors were relocated to the windshield bracket. That's how I rolled in the summer time. The doors were fully off when the weather was good and fit in the rear easy. They were there and ready to keep out major rain when it happened. I loved that set up. It was like Easy Rider in a Jeep set up.
That’s a LOT of whining Bro! 🤣😂🤣 I love my SkyView One Touch. Removing the hardtop on my JK was a chore. I got tired of asking my brother and he got tired of helping. For me it was a great compromise, not to mention all the upgrades from a 2016 to a 2020.
See jeep wrangler 4xe hybrid thread by Brandon Haneline . He has a video on removing the one touch sky top, and says after reinstall no leaks or problems
I have been doing research and then thought, oh no! Can I use a sunshade on the Skype One Touch? And yes thanks to you, I can! I think this is the only video showing the Sky One Touch install. Thanks again!
Ordered my Alien Sunshade for mine because of your video. Was getting ready to install, but don’t have the plastic piece to slide it between the frame. Do you know where I can find one? Thanks so much!
I sure wish I lived out West with all the parks to go off roading in. I live in the DC/Baltimore area and there is nowhere to go off-road, so my Jeep is gonna be a Pavement Princess. I think this top would be a good choice for "City life". I do not think it is worth $4000 thought, I think they would sell more if they asked $2,500. I will go with the Dual Top group when I order mine.

I have the same top. It’s beautiful but also a pain. I actually wish for something so damn simple..... a cover that clips onto the rain gutters so I can use it in the winter and also hard trails with trees so I don’t hear the sharp thorns slicing away at the soft top 🙈🙈🙈
I love my one touch roof so much! But this is my first Wrangler - I’d never go to a hard or soft top after the one touch roof!

I caught that.. I ordered the latch mounts & if I ever get time, I’ll put a soft top on.

It came w/ the Alien Shade top. It’s literally a thin plastic tie strap. I’m sure you get it in the hardware store.
