Cast and tribes are two different things. Nation Qoomiat is different things. Just like Muslim lives in Pakistan they are called Pakistani, Muslims live in India called Indians. It is not called cast is it qoomiat. Just like this muslim lives in Punjab called Punjabi, living in Bangalore called banglori. Living in sindh called sindhi. But theyvare all Muslims. It is not cast.
But Sunni, Shia, baralvi, ect are cast.

उत्तर प्रदेश में अलीगढ़ के आसपास जो शहर हैं उसमें हम मुस्लिम एरिया में एक बार गए।हमें एक राजनीतिक पार्टी के कार्ड बांटने का काम सौंपा गया था। कांग्रेसी ही थी। जब कार्ड पर लिखे नाम के से हमने पता पूछना शुरू किया, तो हम यह देखकर आश्चर्यचकित हो गए। हर सरनेम का एरिया अलग था। पत्नी गलियों में लोग बता रहे थे कि अगले चौराहे से राइट साइड में पर्टिकुलर लोग मिलेंगे, उसके आगे कुरैशी मिलेंगे, उसके आगे लेफ्ट साइड में कोई और सरनेम के लोग मिलेंगे??तब हमें पहली बार एहसास हुआ कि यह सिर्फ बटे हुए ही नहीं है ,अपितु इनके एरिया भी बैठे हुए हैं?

Every spiritual center of any Dharm should chalk out syllabus of their teachings and get approved by constitution and then move ahead. All foreign funding should be stopped.

In the discussions, Tarek Fatah comes out as brilliant and realistic. Sadly, the Maulana does not seem to relate himself to the questions posed. The "caste system" amongst Muslims in India (take Hyderabad as an example) is very realistic. What is important is that all Muslims should go for education. More important is that the Madrasas should teach science, maths etc and not simply Koran only.

And their son is a lawyer, but belong to engineering caste, so he will also marry a girl who works as a pilot but belongs to engineering caste. So finally, there are doctors, lawyers, chefs and pilots in engineering caste. This is the situation in our caste system of current day India. :)
