Actually the cab itself is not wide its just the nose in front. The cab part is the same width as standard loco cabs. The CN cabs first appeared in 1973 on MLW M420W and the GMD GP38-2W locomotives. The MLW version had a different look from the GMD version with the outer cab windows being slanted at the top instead of being cut straight across. I dont have an actual copy. A friend uploaded a bunch of 80's commercial from an old commercial reel. i just downloaded it and edited out/trimmed the rest and kept the CN ad.
