2- When it shows up, wait for a matter of 1 second.
3- Release the Control Stick and The turbo at the same time when the shell charges at you.

i remimber the first time i dodged a blue shell. I don't know if it's my mind of kid over doing it , but i could have sworn it went in the sky and go fire work.
Edit: ok so apparently it wasn't an hallucination, it probably reseted like it did in the "battle ballon" video.

In my opinion, the best way to handle which items players get is to make it based on the position away from the player in 1st place, and also limit each item to a specific position range.
So basically if you can determine how far away from 1st place you are, you can also determine which item you'll get. And that's sort-of how it is with Mario Kart 8, but there's still multiple items competing against each other within the same distance range to be handed out, which each item having different chances of being handed out...it's still very luck-based.

I did something really good once in the Wario Colosseum (I think it's the name) I was 5th on the last line, with only one mushroom. The 4th sent a blue shell that hit the 3rd (Because 1st and 2nd had finished) and I overdrew both of them with my mushroom. We finished in the same second.
How do you make the CPU teams random instead of just “Mario Luigi”, “Peach Daisy”, “Yoshi Birdo” etc.?

Ok, Wario stadium. the Bullshit generator. thanks for reminding me THAT part of double dash. I lived through your mess a good dozen of time. and the worst has to be the simple yet lethal switch between 150CC and mirror in second to last turn.
Also that hack need some rework. they're using the Heart x Fireball instead of the proper fire ball.
