Seeing the akas take shape was cool and adding in the unidirectional carbon fiber was a nice touch. They’re looking great. It’s nice to have a crew of experienced builders moving this project along.

I haven't seen an update lately on how many days the cat is away from reaching you. Probably, 22. I'm guessing 🤔.
I remember when you were sailing Curiosity in the Bahamas and you would go to the beach to workout or sometimes improvise on the dinghy davits. Now you get you workout by sanding... and sanding... and sanding.

Fascinating lighweight build. Good to see carbon fibre being used to provide extra strength, I'm curious how it's integration works in this case. It appears that the greatest tension would be on the underside of the crossbeam arms?

I just recently discovered the Hobie Mirage Tandem Island. Looks like the ultimate way to explore Georgia coastal islands. Same trimaran design at this. Can't wait to see the finished product out on the water and what kind of adventures they get in to!

I really like the content, but what is the intended use if the two of you will be cruising on a big cat? This boat doesn’t look like it will be manageable as a tender. Love Chesapeake light Craft build content.

i don't get it. it seems like a lot of work. is this a fancy dinghy? my impression is that this is their fancy dinghy.. they are already getting a catamaran, boats famous for their shallow drafts, so i don't get it.
