Almost every cover I've heard focuses on recreating the original 1:1 with better instruments, which is, y'know, _good,_ but *this* version understands the _soul_ of it. It's not jazz unless you're putting a little of yourself in the piece, *this* is jazz.
This is the song that turned my interest in jazz into a near obsession. About 8 years back i heard the cover from the official album and i was instantly in love. From that day, i've dived into all forms of jazz and found it to be my favourite source of comfort. Your cover really does it justice. Love the deep sound of the bass. Well done!

Holy shit same. I never seriously listened to Jazz. Mainly was just into rock my whole life as that's what I was raised listening to. Somehow stumbled on a jazz cover of this and I obsessed over it. Starting consuming all sorts of Jazz, focused on jazz drumming, etc. Idk what it is about this song...
Same. For me it was the Metamorphosis jazzlet album version that caught me. Then from there i stumbled on Headhunters and then it was off to the races đ

I'm one of those that appreciates way more music when it's connected to something else, be it a movie or video game. In my case I discovered the fragrance of dark coffee before playing trials and tribulations, I found the music beautiful. Then I played the game, and suddenly it became unbearably sad and melancholic. Now I find it both melancholic and happy, I remember trying to play it on an old synthetizer. Then I got my first instrument, a guitar and it was the first music I tried to learn. I love Godot and this song so much.

I like that this is slower than the official versions and most other jazz covers, it also makes use of less instruments which I think adds a lot to it, more isn't always better.

This song has always held a special place in my heart. I've never played the Ace Attorney games, but listening to this song when doing tedious things back in the day always made those things even a little more bearable. So, thank you for blessing us with a new version, Consouls.
