Watching this has me crying. I'm 26 and have been declining in health with similar symptoms, but because of my age and history of depression, doctors never took me seriously.
I look like a normal young person, but I feel like I'm 80. I graduated a year early from high school, I used to feel smart, but now I feel incompetent and dumb.
Physically, I can do almost nothing these past few months. I'm in a situation right now where I don't have insurance, so I've been depressed about not getting answers, always hurting, and feeling useless.
Thank you for opening up like this. It's good to know we're not alone.

I was diagnosed with a condition called POTS disasomia. This was brought out by long COVID. My central nervous system was attacked. I have to do cold therapy everyday . It's been life changing and has helped with my condition. I also found sound therapy and meditation has helped even more. I was told to get ready for disability and I wouldn't be able to work, drive and I couldn't walk. Sunlight brought pain because of the reaction of the nerves. I slept all day. So cold therapy has had very good results with this condition. I hope this helps with anyone who reads this. Along with fasting and changing diet has helped so much. Good luck to you in your recovery.

Same. Never saw a video from this gentleman before. Been living with a veritable menu of serious medical issues. Recently diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer (invasive ductal carcinoma). Two days after Thanksgiving we had to sit my son and his family down to tell them. The algorithm was telling me of my diagnosis before the doctors, if you can believe it. It was telling me about breast cancer 6 months before my first tumor appeared the same day our governor locked us down for the pandemic. Very sorry I ignored it then. These algorithms are far more advanced than they’re telling us. I’m not an isolated case, nor is it voodoo or witchcraft. Google is in the backend of every conceivable industry on earth, in every sector. Medical, environmental, genealogy. I think it was simple math. Or, due to the routine bloodwork I get for my kidney disease it got picked up there where my doctors missed it, or it linked me through a study I hadn’t consented/unknowingly consented to being apart of and told me thru targeted ads. I was receiving an inordinate amount of ads for things such as breast cancer bras, wigs, drugs, etc. Nobody I knew was going thru this disease, we weren’t talking about it, weren’t searching it, wasn’t on my radar whatsoever. I was 46 when it started happening. Not old enough for this generally. But, the algorithm knew. Wish I had listened. Then, after my lumpectomy we were told “all clear!” 🎉 🥂 Was told the margins were clean, the 9 lymph nodes were clean, PET was clean, blood markers normal, all good! Except, the ads on CZcams now were nothing but ads about having metastatic breast cancer. They’d repeat the same ones over and over so much so I would yell at my tablet, “you lie! They said I’m clean!!” But, I knew. It knew. It wasn’t wrong. Started having tremendous pain in my tailbone 5 months after my lumpectomy and asked a doc for an mri and lesions were present. From there to here. Stage 4.
Never ignore the algorithm now. Also, contemplate the power they have over us all with this knowledge of us. More knowledge than we have about us they control. Nothing good is planned for us.

The go to for Dr is anxiety ..all the fing time ..all the time.. don't trust them and especially don't trust the medications they prescribe..even if they tell you you need it and it will help ..don't trust the Dr and don't trust the medications..look to foods. Worst part about these "invisible" illnesses is the decades of gaslighting you'll have to go through all the while you just progressively get closer to feeling and accepting that you're just going to die. Just nothing left in the tank. I went through that whole process and reached a point where I almost fully accepted it's going to happen and nothing can be done. Did one final attempt and while the generally poor treatment and gaslighting has remained since then, I did finally get a diagnosis and medication along with it.
It's especially heinous since it's not exclusive to rare conditions and applies to things that tens or even hundreds of millions suffer from as well.

"God showed His love for us by sending Jesus to die for us." - (Romans 5:8)
"The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky above proclaims his handiwork" . (Psalms 19:1)

"And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength." (Mark 12:30)
"Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity, and in sin did my mother conceive me" .( Psalm 51:5)
"your iniquities have made a separation between you and your God, and your sins have hidden his face from you so that he does not hear." (Isaiah 59:2))
" None is righteous, no, not one; no one understands; no one seeks for God. All have turned aside; together they have become worthless; no one does good, not even one". ( Romans 3:10-12)
"For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" .( Romans 3:23)
"For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord" .( Romans 6:23)
"And just as it is appointed for man to die once, and after that comes judgment" (Hebrews 9:27)
"Whoever believes in the Son, has eternal life; whoever does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him" .( John 3:36)
"In this is love, not that we have loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins." ( 1 John 4:10 )
"but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. " (Romans 5:8)
"But he was wounded for our transgressions; he was crushed for our iniquities; upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace, and with his stripes we are healed" . (Isaiah 53:5)
"Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God." (John 3:3)
"But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God." ( John 1:12)
"if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." (Romans 10:9)
"Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest." (Matthew 11:28)
"I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. " (John 14:6)
"And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved." (Acts 4:12)
"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. "(1 John 1:9)
"The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly. "(John 10:10)
"Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life. I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God that you may know that you have eternal life." (1 John 5:12-13)
"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come. " (2 Corinthians 5:17)

Mark, chapeau for coming out with this. I can imagine what you’ve been going through. I survived five months on a ventilator in an ICU, completely paralysed with Guillaine-Barré Syndrome. I had heard doctors talking by my bed saying things to the effect of ‘poor boy, he hasn’t got a chance to survive this’. I was in really bad shape. I clenched my teeth and fought. When I survived they told me I won’t be able to walk normally again etc. That was 32yrs ago and since then I have led a good life. I have 250.000 metres of altitude gain on my current Garmin, cycling. Alps, Dolomites… Mark, be brave. Never give up. Science makes advances. New treatments are discovered all the time. All my best wishes to you. God Bless.

This whole "the doctors said I'd NEVER" bit that people use to boost up their videos and testimonials is getting long in the tooth. Doctors rarely EVER say those things to anyone. But the general public isn't too good on 'nuanced' thoughts. e.g. "you probably won't compete at the level you did, you will probably have to accept other competitive levels" is too many words so in the mind of a (often medicated and anxious) patient it becomes the doctors told me "you will never run or walk or compete again."

Hi there! This is the first time I have seen your video. My heart goes out to you. My mom had a similar story. Growing up, my mom was constantly sick. She struggled with depression and anxiety. She was falling all the time. Many years went by in and out of hospitals until my dad had had enough and demanded answers. At this point, I was 11, and it was 1975. There was a new neurologist who sat with my mom, just before being released from the hospital again without any answers and sitting with her 10 minutes knew what she had where the top doctors she had seen for years did not even know. He told his follow colleagues she had multiple sclerosis. They didn't even know what that was. My childhood was ravaged by that horrendous disease. I think it would have turned out differently if she had been diagnosed earlier. The last 5 years of her life, I was her caregiver, and it was the most precious time I had with mom. She passed away 7 years ago, and I miss her, especially on Mother's Day. My prayers are with you and your family.

I've doctor hopped for more than 10 years, people thought I was crazy, I feel you. It's like I'm watching a video of me. My doctor here in St. Louis, MO told me to never let go of what makes me...me. I make music, I love cooking, I enjoy being with my girlfriend, programming apps, video editing. Don't lose sight of what you have and never lose faith. This has been my entire 27 year life so I know I have a pain tolerance. People don't understand that if someone shakes my hand too hard, I'm down for the count for 24 hours and have to pop a pill. It's hard to fall asleep. There will be a day where it feels like it's the worst it's ever been, that's the peak. Once you get on the other side of that peak and believe that you can pull this off, you can start predicting what makes things better and worse. If this doesn't make sense to you, maybe it's because I'm having a bad day. 😂 It'll be okay. You have a blossoming CZcams channel, a family, a wonderful life. Just remember that the bad stuff can be louder than the good stuff. If you ever need someone to talk to who also has this stuff, just reach out. My social media links should be on my channel. I’ve lived with constant chronic nerve pain for 50 years - you’ve made some EXCELLENT choices in regard to your pain - the mind and brain are amazing- my brain rewired itself quite a long time ago - by choosing to not dwell on the pain, it rewired my response to it. It’s always there, yet I don’t always notice it if I don’t think about it. Also on bad days if I embrace the pain it often softens. In choosing to embrace normalcy and life, it changed my health and improved it significantly. Diet is very important with chronic pain - getting rid of inflammatory foods really helps. And having a workspace that inspires creativity makes a big difference. Pacing is also key, I respond well to alternative as well as traditional therapies and again so helpful. I completely understand the mixed up words, constant pain takes tremendous energy, it’s like your body is firing at full throttle constantly. If I become fatigued the vocabulary gets quite mixed up and messy. Texting is not fun as well, as fine motor skills are increasingly difficult with fatigue. It took twenty years to be sort of diagnosed with a rare autoimmune condition that can't be definitively diagnosed because it's a matter of eliminating everything else and coming up with a short list of things that doesn't show up on any test. Even today, 35 years on, its still a best guess and I'm at the mercy of seeing someone who actually believes me when I have a particularly bad flair. It's soul destroying when you are in so much pain that you can't stand up, let alone walk, and are fobbed off as it being all in your mind. You have no other choice but to suffer in silence.

I am very pleased you are feeling better, enough to expand your physical location and will for sure increase your target audience. I subscribed only because you are a unique grateful content CZcamsr. Although I have no interest in camera’s or photography, I will share your episode with our daughter whom is a semi-professional photographer as well as a young lady that has recently graduated some photography course at our local University. Good luck my friend from Southwestern Ontario, Canada.

I have a "laundry" list of autoimmune diseases.... so I deal with severe chronic pain and fatigue that keeps me in bed. I also have a suppressed immune system because of the meds I take to keep me alive. I am recovering from a really bad flare, and I should be getting up and trying to live normally. But I cannot gather the strength to push forward. This video helped me so much more than you could ever know. You have made a difference and I feel so encouraged.... "if he can do it, so can I!" Thank you and I"m so impressed with your courage and determination!

I also have eliminated so many other foods because of allergies, so I just have to do the best I can!! Thanks so much for your kind comment and suggestions!

Oh wow, this was actually an eye opener for me. I'm rebooting my photography hobby again since 2 weeks and was looking at some youtube channels when i stumbled upon yours. I've seen at least 20 video's and then this one pops up. What we tend to forget is that youtubers like yourself are normal people with everyday issues and problems as well. I truly love the way you explain things to us and you (together with Simon d'Entremont) are by far the best channels to watch if you want to learn and master this craftsmanship. That being said, i really hope you are still doing well and i wish you all the best from The Netherlands. Many thanks for sharing your knowledge!

    Hi Mark,
This is the first video of your channel that I‘ve watched and I can tell you one thing: It won’t be the last! 🙏
I‘m a professional video photographer and video editor for over 18 years now (but mostly doing stuff for TV) so it was kind of „obvious“ that a new video came into my CZcams feed, but watching the first minutes of this video was hard, but I‘m really happy that you‘ve found a way to deal with your „situation“ and that you actually had the joy of an improvement 👍
So therefore I wish you all the best, after watching the first 7 or 8 minutes of this video I paused it, liked it and of course subscribed to your channel 👍
As I said: I will definitely start to watch many other videos you made, cause now I‘m curious 😉
Thanks for being so openly and honestly to us viewers, not many people let strangers take a kind of „inside look“ 👏🙏
But I really appreciate that and I want to give back something, so I‘ll watch a bunch of your videos and like them, etc.
By the way: I‘m a „heavy“ user of Sony cameras (FX7/FX9, FX5/FX6, Alpha 7SIII and Alpha 7IV), but on the other side I really like your „open mind“ (using other brands, cameras, lenses, etc).
That being said, I wish you and your family all the best and stay safe!
With best regards from Germany 🇩🇪, Philipp 👋
    EDIT:
Please ignore any mistakes I made, I usually mess up the English language I use 🥴😆 (but for obvious reasons I guess: I’m not a native speaker 😉)

      1. mental illness is often tied to diet. Sugar is particularly horrendous. I'm sure you're aware that your gut is also called your 2nd brain.
      2. Psilocybin and Ketamine are tremendously effective single treatments against untreatable depression.
      3. If you're psychologically fit enough and don't suffer from borderline personality disorder, or dissociative disorder, I can recommend resources that will prove, as best humanity can offer, that you live beyond death.
A gentle introduction that won't put you at risk of a psychotic break is JeffMara's channel. He has interviewed hundreds of NDE cases.
If you think you're ready for substantially deeper than that, I can recommend, but it can be risky for some minds.

Hi Mark - I'm a therapist that works with the central nervous system - what you described here is in a nutshell very similar to the pain management program I use to desensitize the nervous system and trigger a healing response. To avoid a lot of medical gibberish - meditation/mindfulness/gratitude/presence practices switch off the pain cycle. It basically works for most chronic pain sufferers that have a central hypersensitivity. flare ups can happen, but really the focus is to do things that, in lack of better wording, 'bring you joy'. You basically healed yourself :) excellent job! I don't follow your channel, but I'm glad the algorithm brought me here today, was worried about a particularly tough case and was thinking that maybe I'm not equipped to take it on, but trying something is better than not trying at all, just the concept of advocacy is a strong enough medicine sometimes.
