      Danke! Yes, I think a lot of my advice can be applied to learning any foreign language. Glad to hear you confirmation!

    Your cat was very patient with you, Ari! 😁 Yes, I actually did this but with songs! And I can hear songs in Russian I recorded in the early stages of my learning, and I just realize the huge difference of how I sound singing the same song now! so if you guys sing, I think that's a cool way to try it as well 🙃

      Haha, yes he's very patient. Never thought of singing, but I think that makes a lot of sense. Singing is probably a good way to also help improve accent, as you pay closer attention to how Russian sounds.

    I began russian 3 weeks ago. I am focusing entirely on vocabulary at the beginning, 50/100 words a day. In 3 months, I will do a bit of grammar then begin to read some easy books and watch some easy series. I noticed that if I study with a normal method I would only learn something like 5 words a day, this is only 1500 words in a year, way too slow!!!

    • @LearntheRussianLanguage
      @LearntheRussianLanguage  Před 5 měsíci +3

      That seems like a lot of words per day! But I like the general strategy. Add in some more speaking practice and you're good.

    • @ilevxhd8066
      @ilevxhd8066 Před 4 měsíci +1

      How’s it going? I am learning 50 words per day because I got tired of my limited vocabulary. I recommend reading a book and then learning all the unfamiliar words from it. That way you get context and can review them easily by just reading the book again.

    I still can't speak for heck 😂
    Although I have practice lots of grammar, however, what I have notice is me understanding a lot more spoken Russian :)

    Human society in the capitalist world is very fragmented due to competition for success and achievement. Man in capitalism is a Viking trader.
    Russia is different. Cause? Russia has always been an agricultural country, where the population lived in the form of agricultural communities where people were forced to help each other in order to survive in the wild.
    As a result, this formed a different mentality and a different psyche for the Russians.

      Great question. First of all, I think professional success comes down to your skills. So a great marketer/engineer/programmar will do fine anywhere.
      And I like to think of foreign languages more as amplifiers. If you're for example a French engineer and you also know Russian, that would open up more opportunities than if you only knew French and English. But being a Frenchman that knows Russian in and of itself isn't too valuable in the marketplace if you don't have any other skills.
