All For One and his brother are from the first generation of Quirk users so you have to take in account that the information about the manifestation and holding of a quirk was most-likely non existent during that time.

Deku and AllMight are the only One For All users that are quirkless. People say that Nana is quirkless but it was said she has some other quirk, this can change when the two final users are shown.

think One for All simply amplifies whatever Quirk the user has beforehand, but since All Might and Deku had none, it simply amplifies their physical attributes. However, if someone like Bakugo had been given One for All, it would have given him nuke-level explosions.
That's my theory at least.
I disagree, I would say that Like the first user All might and Deku have Hidden quirks. Take All Mights Muscle Form, to me that seems like an activated quirk,
I think that the hidden ability of the One For all, is that the user must have a hidden quirk.
Plus: There was a panel from the manga where the Doc, that said Deku was quirkless, was chatting with All for one, meaning that he could lied about Deku being quirkless or possibly stolen it from him.
Jstearking muscle form isn’t a quirk , allmight says it’s just him flexing basically . I think one for all just remembers his body in his prime so he’s able to temporarily return to it when he uses one for all.

I think the point of 211 is to show the different benchmarks of his advancements with OFA. He learned All Might's style initially, shoot style made it his own, now the next evolution is incorporating Nana or one of the other users quirk and style into his fighting. The different OFA users "experience" against AFO collectively to totally defeat him and his network.

I've had this theory for a while that The Brother's original quirk wasn't as useless as it may have seemed.
I think that the quirk itself could originally pass down a copy of the consciousness of the person wielding it currently to someone else along with the quirk itself. Basically, the quirk could have been the ultimate motivation quirk. People who would inherit the quirk would only gain wisdom and counseling, but not the power of the previous users. It would have inspired the next holder to keep pushing their limits and become an incorruptible symbol of peace.
However, while the Stockpiling Quirk may have allowed the user to stock energy, it may have inadvertently weakened the vestiges. I speculate that the vestiges would have always been present and the quirk itself would require a lot less effort to receive or transfer if it wasn't for the Stockpiling quirk in the mix.
I think this because it's possible the energy stocked in the quirk could have mangled the quirk in a sense, by having all the energy inside it overshadow the vestige's true function, clouding them like a storm. Like instead of a direct host-vestige connection it would be like a host-power-vestige connection. I think it may have also strained the transfer process, because the amount of energy needed to transfer would have drastically gone up, requiring more than just a touch. Something like ingesting DNA directly for example.
My evidence is really just the few things we know about the brother is that he was weak, but he had a strong sense of justice. If his dream was to leave behind a legacy, it could be possible that he developed a quirk that would let him leave a legacy and inspire people to act with justice in their hearts and to become incorruptible.
Basically, I think it would have been a lot more like The Avatar State, but instead of requiring meditation and such to access, it could have been like an encyclopedia of experiences, wisdom, knowledge and motivation the current host could access anywhere at any time.
Just imagine a quirk that would let you talk to and get advice from legends.

i agree in some sense except that part where you said the energy overshadowed the vestiges due to the stockpilling quirk...why then would the 1st OFA user say "we are past the point of singularity" or "you are only able to use 20%"..to me that means that it is a requirement to reach a certain energy level for the vestiges to appear...or it could be that deku is in sync with the vestiges or he is special in that sense..dont know, too much info missing

I don't think just unlocking and getting better at using the quirk will help someone see or talk to the vestiges. I think there's a difference between seeing visions of the vestiges and interacting with the vestiges.
If it was only a power level thing, Nana and Toshinori would have been able to talk to the vestiges no problem, since it is stated that All Might basically accessed about 100% of the quirk early in his career.
I think the phrase "we are past the point of singularity" could be hinting at the concept of Quirk Singularity mentioned in the earlier chapters. I think it's more like an observation. I think this may be pointed towards Eri and Chisaki, who seem to have some very powerful quirks, but it's far more likely it's referring to OFA itself being mutated so many times over generations.
And I think the "you are only able to use 20%" line is just a statement. If the vestiges are as I speculate (for the sake of this argument) then The Brother is simply telling Deku his current status and telling him he can do this with his help. Since Deku probably hasn't broken through the "power curtain" yet, the vestiges can't advise him, only push him to go on.

I think theoretically even someone who hasn't fully mastered the quirk could talk to the vestiges, but only in a deep trance (like sleep or the one caused by Shinsou's Brainwashing). So far the only OFA training we've seen was physical, focused only on gaining enough strength to handle it, but with some psychic, spiritual or meditative training, I think Deku could learn to talk to the vestiges more freely. Even the approach of the previous users like All Might is hinted to be only physical.
I think that's gonna be the thing that makes Deku special. His ability to take situations and find new creative solutions to solve them. 8 users before might have only thought about getting better physically, but Deku might go the full way and also train his mind to gain total control over the quirk.
Total control in this case not being 100%. All Might was at 100%, but if he had trained his mind too, he might have been able to seize total control and do even more, like access the previous user's quirks, wisdom or memories.

@Shoto TodorLowkey Well if she did, it would be a considerable achievement to become a hero, since those kind of quirks are considered evil by design (My hero Society really doesn't like destruction quirks). I'm guessing if she was a hero, she used All-For-One as her main tool.

Ofa passes down ITSELF and not other quirks. As ofa is a combination of 2 quirks (3 or 4 but I digress) 2 known quirks of afo and a quirk that can pass itself down. Due to decay not being in the ofa mixture.
Gamerwarrior this is wrong. OFA is literally two quirks. Stockpiling-which is what leads to the power build up over generations, and the quirk that lets it be passed down, as the two merged to create OFA. There has been no mention or explanation of other quirks being brought into it.

I think the reason why all might didn't see any visions is beacuse of nana shimura super charging one for all and then passing it on to all might and thats why he didn't have a problem using the quick at 100% and that can explain why deku has a hard time using it so in conclusion the vessels inside one for all remaind dormant somehow.
Also another theory i have is that all might did see a dream with the previous users but he cant remember duo to him passing out after the all for one fight he had (were he killed him) so he probably feel into a comatosed state and cant remember this also can explain why he turned so skinny, then he probably knew how to go buff form mercilessly from the dream sequences that he had and he never bothered explaining it to himself which I think kind of fits with his character to be honest
All might does look like a muscle head then deku who is more of tactician then pure strength
Theory: Deku will eventually be able to pair with a previous user of One for all one at a time, and use their quirk for the period of time his stamina allows, possibly sharing consciousness / his body with the previous user for the period of time he uses their quirk. This may even manifest in a shadow draping over him like in the last chapter 211 or as differently coloured lightning. Eventually, he may be able to use more than one previous user / vestige and their quirk at a time, similarly to how All for one can use more than one quirk at a time.

The physical deduction used to tell if someone has a quirk (the ABSENCE, not the presence, of a second joint in a person's pinky toe) was a recently discovered scientific method. AFO and his little brother lived when quirks first manifested in humanity when abilities were being called superpowers before later being known and referred to as quirks. So even if AFO had X-ray vision, he most likely wouldn't have known about the toe-joint factor because it didn't exist as a scientific evaluation yet.
AFO gave his little brother the power stockpile quirk to not only to attempt forcing him onto his side by possessing a quirk, but also the quirk itself being able to strengthen his very weak and frail brother simply out of love for him. Neither he nor AFO knew of his hidden quirk; and once AFO discovers this factor he more than likely tries to steal it back, which uncovers another fact that OFA can't be forcibly taken but only willingly given.

@@genmac2843 The -1th user lol. But the way i think about it is the quirk was first passed down by all for one so he would be the original user of the quirk. When all for one steals a quirk it remains the same so i pressume no stregth could be stock pilled and the quirk could be exactly the same but from the first user and onwards the quirk has been changing each time.

I just feel sorry for Izuku. Right now he feels like shit cause he lost control of his power yet again not only burdening everyone round him but looking like a total noob infront of everybody again. He finally gets his chance to show off and show his new technique to everyone and this happens. He's gonna beat himself up for this
Ya, as cool as a new upgrade would be. I can't help but think about how bad this timing is as Izuku will probably end up hurt from this but also how embarrassing it might be to have your quirk go suddenly out of control in the middle of a fight.

I dont really read the manga, but I think One for all mixed with the quirks of previous users and the current craziness, in 211 is one of those quirks being activated. And I also think this type of thing didn't happen to All Might because he wasnt as connected as deku is right now.

I don't think that the previous users are going to take control of his body,but I think they will show Deku their memories (like Avatar) and how they fought and from that and since Deku is a quick learner he will learn their techniques and adapt their styles as we already have seen with All Might and Gran Torino.
I think the black matter we saw in 211 will form into a new arm for deku, sort of like a physical manifestation of one for all, it would allow him to use 100% in that arm but will still cause him equal amounts of pain, so he can’t spam it, it would mirror Luke with the lost arm thing but would be more effective because giving a mechanical arm to a super strength user is more of a handicap. It could potentially shapeshift like venom or carnage into blades or shield maybe even assimilate technology like agent venom could. I also have this idea that the arm could turn into a cannon and fire pure energy from one for all similar to the mega buster.
By the way vocal, I think if any student needs an upgrade it’s Kaminari, hell as training he just needs to watch a certain scientific rail gun, imagine a Kaminari like that would surpass Todoroki.
only problem with kaminari is that rn he cant control his electricity like misaka can. while misaka is able to control the direction and force of her electricity kaminari can only control the power of it, hes only able to control the direction due to the support items he has. he would have to do specialized training to focus his electricity before he could be on a level comparable to railgun.
Derpman Average Gamer but season 3 has shown us he gain a little more control in the wattage and his fight with class b shown this to
@@JDWalker495 he still lacks directional control, without his pointer and disk system he can only discharge his electricity into the area surrounding his body. im wondering if this could be fixed by incorperating copper or gold into the fingers of his gloves so that he can focus his electricity through them and basically use it as a reverse lightning rod.

we can be sure that new quirks can stockpile into one for all. remember when all might explained in the 1st episode how the form changing worked (normal to muscular), well if we know all might was quirkless then that quirk was passed on to him.

One of the main complaints against Deku is that he needs to find his own fighting style... the color wheel of ghostly support sounds more like a crutch than a powerup to me personally
You must remember that Deku has only had his quirk for less than a year! For someone who has never had superpowers before much less a destructive one, Deku has been doing a good job training it to his body limits.
@@roscobyluci889 kinda like spiderman with his way of the spider martial art he developed himself to take advantage of all of the actions availible, Deku could develop his own fighting style after properly training to not break himself with the quirk.

Altho i support this theory 95% the other 5% of me cant dismiss the idea or the theory that the eyes and the black venom like ability deku is experiencing could be linked to AFO. Just how he said he could hear is brother, while in prison, we can role out that AFO is connected to the frist user of One For All. So why couldn't AFO be tapping into Dekus messages and could be influencing in some way. OR the messages/ previous users in fact could be influencing deku's ability in an attempt to defend the power against AFO for tapping into the power. All I know is that which in the manga there is a lot of content and everyone is on edge as we try to speculate what vpuls happen or what is happening to deku. In all I'm mind blown by the current chapters and I'm very intrigued on what will happen next! And also love the video! Always exciting to see more! Keep up the good work! Since 1 for all can transfer quirks, deku would most likely have another quirk or more. He could have a quirk from a previous 1 for all. So does he have another quirk that he doesnt know of or not? What do yall think?
I'd like to think that when a user of One For All passes away, their consciousness remains within the quirk itself. Maybe the vestiges can become more readily interactive as Deku gains more control over his quirk, sort of like how Luke Skywalker could only hear Obi Wan's voice through the force, but is later able to view him as a Force Ghost.
Nana had a quirk, small might said so when he said that he didn’t have one I believe, but he may not of said it then but I know he did.
Deku could be seeing all of One for all users bc of blood line. There are rumors of All for one being Deku's dad which would make him One for all's first users nephew. That would explain to why All for one heard his brothers voice and Deku is the only one that has ever gotten visions.

I actually believe that this is happening because not only one for all is changing but it restoring itself as I believe that when eri-Chan helped deku defeat the jakusa something weird is going to happen to deku ( maybe another theory of mine is that when Eri used her quirk on deku deku may have unlocked a new quirk )

Actually, Im fairly sure that OFA enhances existing quirks, if given to someone with one. I vaguely remember a line referring to that, but I cant exactly point it out - sorry
From what I remember, I think it was after Deku fought against Todoroki in the Sports Festival. All Might said if he gave Todoroki One for All then Todoroki would be an overpowered superhero with his enhanced ice and flames.

My only problem with this then is why was mirio considered the perfect candidate for OFA because you cant really enhance hes quirk. Unless it does work like this and it's just a plot hole.
@@MosseNGaming He was the perfect candidate because he worked just as hard, if not harder than deku, even before Midoriya started. He also shared the "heroic spirit", his quirk was just a plus, despite being a huge one.
Man I gotta say your theories are really great to think about; plus your intro is fire. But heres my take on the black energy:
See what most people are forgetting is Deku's interaction with Eri. With her quirk interacting with Deku's in the previous arc we saw that her was able to use "Infinite 100%". If you recall after the fight Deku was by himself speculating that his arm doesnt feel the same as before. In fact if I recall correctly he said it felt better than before (though I might be paraphrasing a bit). What if this new power is a mutation of One For All as a result of its interaction with an abnormal quirk such as Eri's. Its plausible to think so as I dont think Eri ever used her quirk on a person for such an extended period, plus theres a big mystery around said quirk.
Who knows, maybe this is Deku's own quirk manifesting itself after his interaction with Eri and is trying to form a bond with One For All and it the reaction is a bit volatile. Remember Deku's mom's quirk was stated to be "making small objects float to or from her" and his dad has the power to breathe small fires. This may just be a long shot but what if these quirks sort of melded with One For All which for the most part is a physical quirk; in which case:
1) If he got a fire quirk then that fire could be enhanced to point that its become a physical manifestation similar to Endeavor when her creates spears and such, hence the tendrils.
2) It could be the physical manifestation of his mom's quirk, moving him to an from things; the vestiges' will just has more control since it might be melding with One For All.
But as i said im just guessing like everyone else.
The reason Deku's arm feels better is due to all the damage in his arm being reversed by Eri's quirk. This is backed up through the ending of the internship arc where Deku cuts off the doctor who is dumbfounded by the incredible condition of Deku's arm.
Furthermore, Deku does not have a quirk and is proven because his toe joint is not the same as people with quirks. So manifesting it would make no sense
@@yousopreciouswhenyousmile372 good observation. But I'm still gonna have to go with the undercard theory here. See from what I've seen within the story so far is that Deku's situation when it comes to quirks has been anything but conventional and there's still so much we don't know about the mechanics of One for All or Eri's quirk. For all we know Deku's case could be a mutation of his body by being exposed to the singularity which is One for All and Eri's quirk for such a long period.
But now that I think about it... I wonder if Deku's pinky toe is the same since he now has a quirk...

I think All Might has a quirk because after he already "used up his embers" he can still go to a muscle form even if it is just for a small moment also based on what his teacher told Deku "He already had the body for the quirk One for All" I believe that All Might had the quirk Muscle Form. That's what I think and I hope that you will see this :)
naaa, that was to show all mights dedication to the public.. despite literally being at deaths door, he had to give the public a true victory that they could feel good and safe about, i'd prefer if they didn't give deku some hidden quirk, part of why i got so hooked season 1 was the fact that he didn't have a quirk and had to use that shitty little notebook to strategize

@@sangun123 Actually all might used the muscle form even after the fight... An example of this is when All Might tries to convince Deku's mom in Season 3 Episode 12. Even though he had no more "embers" he still had the muscle form ability

I remember that AllMight did say that Nana had a Quirk but he never said what it was. AllMight also briefly talked to Deku about what it would have been like if Shouto Todoroki had inherited One for All during the sports festival arc
What if Deku will be able to give acces to his body to every user of one for all,and they would we able to use their original quirks while in that state

MANGA SPOILERS
Well, yes, the theory that Deku must end up with various quirks is fairly common. BUT, in the last chapter of the manga there's something weird happening with Deku. It seems to me that the "black energy" is actually tangible since it pulled Midoriya. It probably is a new quirk inherited from a past one for all successor and not just an advanced or new type of attack or "energy". It is probably a new quirk for him because he lacks control of it! Like a child who has just awakened a quirk. Also, AFO brother said that Deku is already past the "singularity" state, although his body is weak. The singularity state is something All Might and Nana couldn't reach as for Nana "it wasn't time yet" so they have no information about this event. So I'm hoping that in the next chapter all of this gets confirmed ;)

Huh. His moms quirk attracted objects to her, but the black teathers attracted deku to the location.
My view of the singularity that he was talking about, is the point where the initial taking of the quirk is too powerful for a person to take on, as we know, deku was just barely able to hold one for all at the start of the series.
The ability is to consolidate, grow and pass on the power. Every user is stronger than the previous that is how it has been.
That would be awesome! But maybe not letting the vestiges control his body while fighting, instead he goes for some alone training with Gran Torino and communicates with each one individually to learn their fighting styles.
And the black thing could be a quirk from a previous user that Deku has unlocked.
I think this may be OFA truely adapting to Deku. My reason for this is that so far Deku's use OFA just seemed to copy All Might's. My theroy is that OFA does this each generation wjich explains why nobody has been able to figure out the current OFA user since the quirk would be completely different between users.

I love the whole Chromatic individual colour palette OFA users have; Its pretty dope. Also AFO&OFA conflicted during what was probably the first era of quirk users; I don’t know if anything as complex of a power as “I know your abilities” existed yet. Though the Xray quirk is possible i doubt the science behind quirks was even around during their time so idk if he’d know about the toe joint thing even if he did see it. (Edit) imagine if Izuku’s Lightning changed into the colour palette of the users power set he’s currently manifesting?

Here is my theory:
All for One when he gave his brother the stockpiling power, that power came with a bit of All for One's own power to take and pass on quirks, namely the pass on quirks part.
Through that, the power has been taking a bit of each subsequent user's own quirk power and stockpiling it and passing that on to the next user each and every time.
So the power isn't necessarily evolving or hasn't changed. It's just always been like that, but mostly they've only been using it for it's super strength which I feel originally belonged to maybe the first person that the younger brother passed One for All to

Isn't Deku also the first one for all user that didn't train his body fully to handle the quirk before it being passed down to him? That could explain the avatar states he goes into. He's the first one for all user still training, so the quirk (or the previous users) are helping train him. This way the back story won't need to be retconned by adding secret quirks to one for all, but it also explains why Deku is having such a unique experience with the quirk.

I'm so excited for my hero academia season four and five!
Deku says at the end of the first chapter, and during pretty much every opening of all the seasons of the anime, that boku no hero academia is the story of how he became the No. 1 hero. And I thought that it was just through him developing his quirk and figuring out better ways to use it like Mirio did with his, but it explains so much if he does have access to the quirks and skills of previous one for all holders. He'd be like a one man team, this is one of the best theories I've seen online.
So if your theory was true that means that you would have a 9 different martial arts and six different quarks since we know that three of the users of one for all don't have quirks

This is from an odd dream I had last night where I was in a body which turned out to be Eri’s uncle or so it claimed to be and he had this quirk were he could “level” up his senses and physical abilities, like hearing, sight, strength etc. Basically broke into Tartarus, knocking out all the guards and dragged Chisaki out of his cell and… returned the damage he did to Eri but ya know 10 folds. Then being the genius he is, had cameras around UA and noticed Deku’s quirk evolving and mailed Chisaki’s jacket to Deku, told him he wanted to meet up, they met, he brought the younger brother of All For One through Deku and yeah.
Damn… I went on a tangent 😅

I love this Avatar State theory and I believe it’s going to (at least in some ways) predict what we can exspect in 2019, if you think about it Deku mimics Anag in his fight with shoto in the Terniment Arc, that being said though, and thinking back to what we know of Deku as person, I don’t think that’s the be all end all, but more of the starting point, because you could argue that it also Echos D Grayman (in referencing the “shattered rabbit” mug) an a slew of other shojo manga, so what makes this “HIS HERO Acedimia” because we learned at the end of the school festival arc he’s telling this story to Eri for some unexplained reason, we know this because he said “and I just wanted to see you smile”, isolating him down requires us to go back to the very first word box of the very first chapter “I learned at an early age that not all men are created equal” we see him getting beat up and then a flash of unassuming time skip to after the fight where he’s laying on the ground alone, everyone else is gone, we learn his past relationships ext. but one questions been bothering me, why didn’t Hori -san show the fight? It wasn’t because of any squimish reason, he draws blood,so this brought up some questions after see the villains first attack on USJ, up to this point there was really only one other instant that I was questioning when kacchan told Deku to go kill himself if he hated not having a quirk that badly they share this moment where they look at each other and it’s like.. kaachan is waiting for Deku to DO something about what he said and he’s annoyed that nothing was triggered “but wait” I asked myself, also there’s this same sort of moment when Deku jumps in the stream off the log and when he launches One for all into the celling of the first testing area were not able to see dekus face in these moment but Kaachan is an his look is of seeing a terror he doesn’t understand or accept fast forward to the Training camp with the Deku verses muscular fight we get a momentary black panel before somthing in him snaps and he screams outa percent while the red scar lines manifest on him then an during subsequent attempts to save kacchan we see kaachans first confused and then “terror” face moment when Deku starts coming for the portal, and why does deku wake up confused, waking up in the hospital after apparently asking himself as to how he got there and what’s going on, but his lack of panic tells us this wasn’t the first time this has happened I also want to throw in here the fact that Hori-San drew him as person hiding behind a ghost costume and not just as a Ghost to illustrate my theory here and what I believe all of these facts culminated to is that Midoria has Always had two sides the one giving us his perspective up until this point is Deku. “The protector; the enduring shield; the strait shooting press forward even if it hurts kid” and The gaps where there is unexplained darkness or power ups that don’t make sense but are usually tied to “winning;winning to survive; analytical muttering that creeps you out but formulates effective plans ” is essentially the part of Izuku that refuses to identify himself or be addressed as “Deku” ; you may be asking: WHAT DOES ALL OF THIS HAVE TO DO WITH CHAPTER 211? WHAT DOES MADORIA HAVING MULTIPLE PERSONALITIES HAVE TO DO WITH ONE FOR ALL GOING CRAZY? SIMPLY THIS: I THINK THAT IF A RESEPTIVE INTUITIVE ANILITICAL HIGH FUNCTIONING TRAMATIZED ENDURER TYPE PERSON WAS GIVEN A QUIRK CONTAINING 8 OTHER TRAMA ENDURED PERSONALITIES HE WOULD:
A. FEEL EVERYTHING THEY FELT
