  • Daily bible readings was created to help people hear the good news and make them theologically literate.
It is very important that we constantly remind ourselves of God and that through his holy scriptures we learn about life and get inspired every day.
That's why I divided the audio books into 5 chapters per day due to the speed of today's lifestyle so that everyone can take some time for God and his words. Below is a description of today's chapters. God bless you all. 🙏
    Zechariah 11-14 Overview:
In Zechariah chapters 11-14, the prophet conveys messages of judgment against false leaders, prophecies of the shepherd king's betrayal, and visions of end-time events leading to the establishment of God's kingdom. These chapters emphasize themes of divine judgment, the coming Messiah, and the future deliverance and restoration of Jerusalem.
    Chapter 11:
Zechariah 11 depicts a lament for the fate of Israel’s shepherds and people. The chapter presents the rejection of the true shepherd, leading to the rise of a foolish and destructive leader. The prophet symbolizes this through the breaking of two staffs, signifying the severing of God’s covenant and unity with His people.
    Chapter 12:
Zechariah 12 prophesies the deliverance and restoration of Jerusalem. The Lord promises to make Jerusalem a cup of trembling and a burdensome stone for the nations. It emphasizes divine protection for Judah and Jerusalem, foretelling a day when God will pour out a spirit of grace and supplication, leading to national repentance.
    Chapter 13:
Zechariah 13 speaks of a future cleansing of Israel from sin and idolatry. The chapter predicts a time of renewed faithfulness and the removal of false prophets. It also foretells the striking of the shepherd, causing the sheep to scatter, symbolizing the betrayal and suffering of the Messiah and the subsequent purification of God’s people.
    Chapter 14:
Zechariah 14 describes the coming "day of the Lord" when Jerusalem will face attack, but ultimately be delivered. The chapter foresees God's intervention, the establishment of His reign, and the transformation of the land. It concludes with a vision of a holy and unified world, where all nations worship the Lord and celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles.
