What a great episode! It's lovely to see Mr B back in the car; he's far more personable for us than, ahem, the previous guest. He has a radiant smile, and he's always suitably informed, but also aghast and reproving in all the right places.😉 I think that statue will now have extra attention paid to it, no doubt eliciting more shock from any passing Catholic ladies of a certain age who just happen to stray that way.

If you like 'offbeat' museums and you're ever in Bydgoszcz, Poland (unlikely I guess) visit the Museum Of Soap and History Of Dirt. We were there a few years ago and while you get the chance to make your own soap we never found out when dirt was discovered....

Best guided tour for the money on CZcams, and at 20:55, the Outin portable espresso maker was incroyable! or "subarashī" as the Japanese might say, (surprising they didn't think of it first). I'll have to share a link to your Outin demo to some Japanese Vlogger friends with an espresso and commercial ice cream machine in their motor home.

@@MeandMonAmi Yea the Japanese can get a little carried away with things they are passionate about, but their friends and fellow campers love having a hot espresso and fresh ice cream when camped out. Another guy has has a DIY MB camper van he turns it into a full-on happy hour bar when camped.

Pleased to have seen that you promoted the Outin Nano Espresso Coffee Maker .... I have had mine for four months and we use it in the home too to good effect - (using fresh beans - there is this option too rather than "pods"). We have been very happy with it and if you choose to you can make cold coffee too which of course is an option using little battery power. Bill and Linda in Sussex

great episode. from what i know, Monaco is the whole country and thus also the capital as it is a city-country, and it is subdivised in districts. Montecarlo is nothing more than a district of Monaco, the one at the very eastern part. Montecarlo is a "quartier" as we say in France. where the casino is. and where the tennis tournament used to take place.
Not sure where you got the fact that it is the capital. if anything, the rocher where the palace stands (as well as the oceanographic museum) would be more suited as a capital.

You tease trying to give me coffee maker envy I already have in the rapido two 12volt plug in handpresso machines similar to your fancy rechargeable one and for something different a Turkish cezve, a XXL filter cone and trendy scandi enamelcoffee pot and doubling up as a piece of sculpture the polished aluminium Atomic for when you want to get frothy. If I got any more something would have to go, difficult deciding between the Pimm's dispenser or the illuminated ice bucket..
