  • Today I decided to install some new headlights I purchased months ago that were laying around (and I recently found) on my 1994 Chevy Cheyenne C/1500. While you can remove and replace the headlights without removing the grill, I decided I wanted to also remove the grill.

    I can confirm that it's easier taking off the grill in order to change the headlights lol

    Are the Silverado and Cheyenne grill styles of the same year compatible? because I have a 2000 with that style grill but I want to change it over to the early Silverado style grill as I prefer the look. obviously I’d have to get new headlight assemblies.

    I'm not familiar with "LMC" - where are you getting the replacement parts?

    • @BuildYourOwn
      @BuildYourOwn  Před 11 měsíci +1

      Great question! LMC Truck is a well-known supplier that specializes in providing replacement parts for a wide range of trucks, including the Chevy Cheyenne C/1500. They offer everything from body panels to interior components and mechanical parts. You can check out their website or request a catalog for more details. It's a go-to source for many truck enthusiasts looking for quality replacement parts. Hope that helps! 🚗🔧

    Do you know if there’s a way to replace the whole headlight housing to replace it to the 1995 standard rectangle headlights??

      You can certainly upgrade to the Silverado spec front end. You just need all the pieces and swap it out. Just need to make sure all the wires would be there to plug the lights in

      Hey there, I can definitely understand your frustration! 😣 Working on cars can be quite challenging sometimes. Just take a deep breath and maybe take a short break if you're feeling too overwhelmed. You might want to give it another try later. Remember, patience is key in these situations. 💪 You got this!

      My headlight adjustment screws don't even work and I've replaced them twice, damn things make my truck look like she's got a lazy eye.

      @@groovygringo3747 I know. My headlights still fall out after a little bump. I'm about to just go to silverado headlights and harness because clearly Chevy didn't want you to mess with the stock single headlights
