@@frazix7075 after Bangalore got nerfed not much smoke to be seen these days, in season 2 she's getting back to the meta but still pretty much useless. Hitbox larger than the average character, her passive will only proc when sprinting so pretty much never. People don't shoot while you're springing trough the map. They shoot when you're still and you also don't get the boost. Smoke can backfire so many times, her ultimate is useless, maybe a little zoning but low dmg and easy to avoid

I like that they are just minor helps. I don't want someone to win a gun fight because they have a purple stock. I want them to win or lose the fight because they are better or worse.

Bryce Jolley not really R-99 with blue mag. One mag dump and a guy with purp armor is dropped in 0.5 second
unlike the magazines, where you can absolutely win or lose a fight depending on the level of your magazine attachment

For whatever reason there are sometimes care packages strewn about in the back area near where the tutorial finishes. Seems random, and the drops inside are random.

My dude. You missed the biggest benefit of the stocks. Which is getting flinched while ADS. Equip a gun with no stock ADS and get hit, you flinch crosshair goes up in the air. Now equip a purple stock and watch as you have almost zero flinch while ADS.
What is ads?

nachotee are you kidding me? every game refer to it as ADS.. PUBG, Apex, COD, R6S, etc... if you actually go to settings of these games, there is an ADS settings which you can adjust the Ads camera speed, toggle/hold ads, etc..

To be fair, I think you guys are missing the point. It's not the creators fault they are having to stretch it to 10 minutes, its CZcamss algorithm. If stretching videos to 10 minute sis what it takes for my favorite CZcamsrs to make a living and keep uploading, then sure, I'll support that while they are forced to, to make a decent living.
The last thing we need is faster ADS strafe speeds. We all know how annoying that can get.

Hmmmm kinda disappointed that the stock doesn't affect the strafe but it's nice to know exactly what it does in regards to weapon swapping and how they mitigate ads drift, can't wait to see what the other attachments do, too
Ugh. Thank you for this quick explanation. The video started to go on about eliminating what it didn't do and I really didn't want to have to wait to the end for a direct answer.
Stick is completely useless then lol just crouch after you input the swap and it'll cut the swap animation time down to 0 seconds litterally and instant swap
I assumed it helped lessen recoil, lol.
John Herrera I think the crouch animation cancel only skips the stow animation of the weapon you switched from, but you still have to wait for the raise animation of the weapon you're switching to, and the stock will shorten that.

I know in some games faster handling could mean faster recovery from movement based accuracy modifiers and the like, did you test this?
E.G. faster change to standing accuracy from running.

Reload speed is upgraded by Level 2 and 3 Extended Magazines. Jsyk
if you switch weapon and quickly press crouch you won't need a stock because it cancels the switch weapon animation.

The purple sniper stock does affect ads speed when you have a scope on it's a very noticeable difference. during a match I had a lvl 1 stock and the ads felt a little sluggish but brushed it off and I got a purple stock and I was like oh that's cool and I switched between the 2 and you could tell. However i do think the video is applicable to rifles cuz Ive never saw an ads speed increase.
You are correct, but he gotta push that content out before other youtubers might be faster (hint hint)
One thing more though, i think that stock is significantly reduced the fire aim movement. Am i right or not? For example, a gun like R-99 when firing, it quickly moves up and to side, thus reducing your accuracy. But with the purple stock, it moves much less and your precision is better. I think i experience this in game, but this guy in video did not mention that????? Or i am completely experiencing it wrong??
@@AldSotha no that is only for barrel. Stock improves ADS time and swap time, nothing else. Barrel only reduces recoil.
You are wrong though. Stock improves ADS time in all weapons where it is applicable.
Oh shit, so that's RECOIL. All this time i was thinking that recoil is actually when you fire a bullet in a far far distance, that it drops down less, meaning that you can shoot more precise at longer distances (usually a single bullet).
3:38 how did he spot that person in the smoke? I'm having a hard time spotting people in dark places. Could someone give me a tip on how to have a better view, because I can't seem to find the game option in the settings.
That looked like a mixture of having prior knowledge of where they were and then zeroing in on them using his hit markers. As for your issue, no idea how to help. Maybe brightness settings?

It totally reduces aim down sight speed lol. Just test it out in game, especially with something like the G7. If you find a stock, aim down sights, then remove it and aim down sights to see how much longer it takes lol.

Well first you boil some water, then you add a lvl 3 stock and noodles. When they are half done add carrots and a mosambique.

I mean........we might not be able to flick, but that doesn't mean we can't track, also movement on console to PC is very different, for example it's harder for us to bunnyhop, these kinds of things come from player skill, not the console

do you have basically 2 primaries or a dedicated secondary? i used to carry G7 + hemlok but realised i would do better if i had a gun that i didnt feel pressured when people were up close, so i try to grab an RE45 with extended light mag as my secondary. easy find, and a decent secondary. i'm definitely bad at switching too, i'm getting a little better. my true acchilles heel though is figuring out when to or when not to reload.... middle of a firefight and i unload a clip and switch, unload and switch, and then i go to shoot and realise i have 2 empty guns and thats a LOT of reloading time. lol
@@johncameron6877 I usually try to carry something long to mid distance and something for up close (peacekeeper / Eva) I often forget to switch to my short distance weapon if they quickly close the gap.
If u want to swap weapons faster just press crouch button while switching

This was much needed. Thank you. I did expect the stocks to do some minor decreases to ads time as nothing else does that it seems, I also expected it to make a small decreases in recoil, as stocks do help that it real life.

None of the weapons lose any damage over range. Even shotguns deal the same damage per pellet across the entire map if you can manage to get a pellet to hit

I think Respawn did an amazing job with loot and attachments in this game. Attachments don't make weapons OP and whoever wins a 1v1 gunfight is usually whoever aimed the best at the time.
@DaLagga Oh yeah of course. It's still a BR, so loot does matter. Especially level 3 extended magazine for like r-99 or something. But in comparison to other BRs, this game handles the loot very well.

Honestly didn’t expect it to do much other than idle sway but now I see how the little difference it makes in switching weapons actually really helps me mid gunfight switching from AR to SMG to finish a kill. I switch weapons more often than I reload in gunfights so this is actually really good to know.
