#MASTERSOFWOOD - Jak na to + styl
We apologise for Mark's change of hair at the end of the video - Boris implemented lockdown between shoots - we promise it won't take you that long to set it up!
That's too funny! 😂
dieses Video ist sehr hilfreich. Die Gebrauchsanleitung für diese Modell ist sehr schlecht gemacht und unverständlich. Mit dieser Anleitung hier geht das Aufbauen super !
Just taken delivery of this planer. I saw in another video a recommendation to screw the bolts into the handles prior to fitting them to remove paint and make it easier to fit them onto the beds. This makes a lot of difference. The only other slight issue I had was the fence wasn't square when I checked after assembly. The problem was that the bottom magnet on the fence wasn't aligned with the rod in the fence sliding bracket. Sliding the fence on by about 5mm solved it and my first cuts were perfectly square.
After only owning it for a few hours, I'm very pleased with it and glad I managed to get hold of one.
Thank you for this setup video. The instructions on the manual are not good so this was really needed. Works perfect like all other tools I have from Triton. Festool, Triton and Makita at my favorite tools
Very glad it helped! What's the first project you're planning to make using your new planer?
Just got this planer today. Thx Triton for detailed set up video. Mine was perfect out of the box.
Lucky you.
My fence is defective (magnets not flush and one machined off centre, also one screw holding the cover for the belts is sheered at the top and isn't properly sunk.
I just sent a Triton thicknesser back 2 weeks ago - terrible quality control.
Great set up guide thank-you. I would appreciate some advice on connecting the planer to dust extraction systems. Ideally via a 100mm pipe given that the chips risk clogging a narrow pipe.
Got hold of one today. I find the placement of the magnets at the back of the fence that you see at 5:19 to be strange. It's not centered so by default the stop block doesn't contact it fully. If you adjust the fence then the 45 degree magnets don't contact properly either, and it seems there also placed too far apart for full contact with the two bolts. It seems almost like it's designed for partial contact, but i don't see why that would be a good thing.
This does not seem to be available online anywhere?
Amazing peice of equipment
Will it also be available in Europa??
Love the Triton Tools
Amazing quality for a very good price
Thumbs up from Holland 👍👍
Ps tried your tools because I saw April Wilkinson making amazing stuff with your tools
10/10 😇
I bought it in Europe, Latvia.
@ from where?
An easy way of moving the tool, I have the triton plainer/thicknesses and that tells me “on no account to lift the tool by the infeed or outfeed beds. As this would be the most obvious way to lift it that two very similar tools should be so different.
Hi John, thanks for your comment. The TPT125 Thicknesser has built-in handles in black at the top of the machine - these are specifically designed for lifting it. The Thicknesser's feed beds fold up so that the tool can be stored are are not built to carry its weight. Hope this helps!
Kiedy będzie dostępna heblarka w Polsce?
Hi, I would like to know how to get the infeed and out feed beds coplaner as mine are out by quite a lot
Check my video, I did a super basic tutorial.
Mine arrived today. Setup went without a hitch, until time to adjust the blades. The 8 bolts that hold the two sets of blades, only 6 could be undone. The remaining 2 will not move. The heads are now stripped. There's a difference of over 2mm between infeed & outfeed left to right. I really don't know what to do. The cut is smooth as glass, but nowhere near 90°. Unless Triton can come up with a solution very quickly, it'll have to go back.
Did you resolve your issue?
I want one 👊👍👌
Are these back in stock now? I’ve had one on order from Yandles for months.
D and m tools have them in stock
@@grantwhite Good man Grant. Many thanks for the heads up!
still not available in Europe !!
Nice video, but I'm having a different issue - I can't get the fence square to the infeed and outfeed tables at the same time - either it's square to one or the other which makes getting the stock square somewhat impossible. Can we get a video on how to adjust the infeed or outfeed table to get it actually in the same plane? Or it's just the issue with adjusting my fence?
How did you resolve your problem?
@@JustinMurray170fin check my channel, I made a video how to align it :)
