- Meet my 2006 5.9 Cummins Ram 2500 truck. This build has been a long process, but the truck has turned out to be exactly what I wanted from the beginning-the ultimate do it all diesel. This truck has a Carli Dominator suspension system, 37s, and a TON of other custom touches to make it do everything and do everything well. Check out the full parts list below:

Don’t forget to check the description for a detailed build list with links! 👍 oh and feel free to follow me on Insta: instagram.com/avvblanc?igshid=bsqxz0y66tpf
Where is the link to the pillar? Clean truck, great video. Thanks!
@@kodystrialanderror742 It's in the video description!
What’s the link for the side mirror? Definitely need me a set of those.
Any interest in selling?

Way to customize a good truck without going full brodozer
Thank god, I was waiting to see the 28" rims that are 30" inches wide with an inch of rubber on them... It drives me nuts.
lmao
Perfectly said, mate. Cheers!
Sorry, but what’s brodozer?
It drives them nuts because they don’t got it if ain’t yours don’t worry bout it bubba
This is one of the sexiest and cleanest trucks ive ever seen, wow.
More truck builds would benefit from his style of clean and simple
Makes me immediately wanna buy a 5.9
Incredibly well thought out and thorough build. Cleanest 3rd gen I've ever seen. Great video, thank you!
Thanks for the kind words!!
This is the best truck build I have ever seen. I love how all the mods are very subtle and clean.
Thank you!
dont see why the 3rd gen's dont get a lot of love, when they're done right like this guys build....damn!
Mix between companies not realizing just how many dodges, especially 2nd and 3rd gens, are on the road, and because many of us that do these types of mods, are more prone to either DIY it or have shops do highly custom stuff.
Thats what im saying everybody says "ahhh dodge front ends are junk" okay put a little money in your front end ans you wont have to worry about it for a long time. Carli has like a million miles warranty. How can you beat it
@@DieselAddict-vs9fc So, you're saying that I can get a million mile suspension and million mile steering setup to match my million mile engine. Sweet.
@@reaperreaper5098 lol i guess it depends on what you do . Heim joint tie rod ends are the way to go
@@DieselAddict-vs9fc It's mostly a joke.
Though, we do have far more second and third gen Dodge trucks on the street than Ford or Shitrolet equivalents in the cities surrounding me, despite Ford and Shitty both selling more trucks when those trucks were first sold. So, Dodges do last.
Perfect combo, not too excessive on any front. I just picked up an 03 and since it was a smokers truck I stripped the interior to clean it. While it was apart I added sound deadening and closed cell foam and the ride quality as far as noise goes is greatly increased. You can lead a normal conversation inside at highway speeds no problem and it retains heat in the winter nicely.
Finally a wholesome diesel channel. You bet I just subd, now I have another distraction to keep me motivated with my 1992 IDI.
Thank you! That’s exactly why I started this whole CZcams thing!
I love watching it going off road! I’m a mechanic and love to see that carli suspension work, just so smooth and the cab is practically floating over it
I came to tell you how much I love this truck and how well your build is but I see everyone else beat me to it. Hands down the cleanest " used" truck I have seen. So glad it's not a pavement princess. I am totally jealous!
Bro, this is probably the most practical and clean build I’ve ever seen. Excellent job.
Thank you!
im a JDM guy have a EVO x and getting a R34 my buddy in Boot camp got me hooked on rams and i plan on owning a 2006 2500 soon love these truck and the power they make
Just got my first Diesel.. 2006 5.9L Cummins. Excited for the journey.
Congratulations! They’re awesome trucks
Absolute best 3rd gen Ram build ever. Did a lot, but tastefully, without going all mental. An object of desire.
Just bought my first 3rd gen yesterday. Really enjoy these videos
Probably my favorite truck build. I’m a big dude so I like seeing big ass trucks that can handle the streets and dirt. Best part it’s a Cali truck.
One of the sweetest dodge 3/4 diesels I’ve ever seen! Great job on the retool!
I just purchased a 2007 5.9 Souther Comfort Mega Cab and i love it! I'm gonna do what you did and color match everything, i think it looks really good.
Love the way you made this 3rd gen yours, looks good, practical, long lasting and clean
im so glad i came across you channel i got three years before i can drive and want the 3rd gen cummins and i will end up taking alot of inspiration from your truck
Man I just came across this video an checked out a few other videos on you channel an I'm super impressed! Subscribed for sure.
Thank you!
Just bought the same exact truck an 06 ram 3500 with 5.9 Cummins. Clean one owner with 175k on it. I’m loving it even more after watching this!
Absolutely sick build, the attention to detail is off the charts.
This is the year of truck I have always wanted! Flawless set up! Absolutely gorgeous!
Probably my 30th time watching this build video! Can't get enough... Way to go Andrew!!
Thank you so much!
Dude I am so jealous 😩 this is fender for fender my absolute dream pickup!! Such a beautiful build!! Amazing work!!
Same, bro!
Also, really digging the Asami Sato AVI :).
@@dabofiron.itzsimplicity You know it thanks bro!!
Absolutely a killer third gen! Wish my old 421,000 mile 07 looked that clean again.
Is, or was, yours a gasser or diesel?
Love your video. My '07 5.9 Megacab needs some of your touches. I had to install a double-disk clutch cuz any setting above #1 on my Smarty S-06 would slip the clutch right off idle. My suspension is all air. AirBagIt in front and Firestone R4 Tech (which they don't make anymore) so when I'm running unloaded, my 3500 runs almost as smooth as a car. I'm also getting 20+ mpg cuz my stock 17" steel wheels with 33" tires keeps my load at minimum. We share a passion with different priorities and functions. I'm definitely going to explore some of your choices.
You did the same thing I did back in 2011. Painted my chrome grill the same color as my truck. You're the only other truck I've seen. Most just go black or stay chrome
Yoooo this is super clean. Im not even a truck guy (even though I own a truck) and I do appreciate you not being a tool and putting the tow windows up. I would almost trade my gen 1 raptor for that lol
Love your truck man! 2500 5.9 Cummins is my dream truck! One day I’ll have one parked in my drive way. Thanks for sharing your upgrades.
Awesome build!! All the mods make sense and executed well
I have the long bed version of this truck and this has inspired me to make mine look good like this one! Nice job man
That truck is Beautiful. I bet it handles like a dream. That's for mentioning the Switchback lights. I must have some
So glad I found your channel man, can't wait to copy some of your ideas/products onto my 3rd gen. 95% of other 3rd gen builds are no bueno
Awesome! Thank you! Definitely trying to do it right with this truck and channel since I'm tired of all the junk in the diesel CZcams scene!
This is exactly how I would build a truck. Factory plus. Looks amazing good job
Love that truck. I also am in love with my Halo9 head unit in my 2nd gen 24v. I almost sold my 2nd gen in need of a big screen but the Alpine unit solved that and much more. When I discovered the addition of the KAC-001 accessory unit to the Alpine can be plugged in without the need of the Maestro unit to give the switch screen and no need of drilling on the dash for switches for lights and other accessories. It is a perfect addition to trucks with many lights/etc. Make sure you follow the installation instructions on the KAC as it is a negative trigger that's not a standard wiring on relays. It has turned my Alpine Halo9 into one of the best investments I've ever done on my truck.
It really is the best head unit on the market right now!
Just Diesels the point I wanted to make was the KAC001 accessory made the Halo9 beyond a simple double din hack. It works without the Meastro module despite what it says in the installation instructions.
Really enjoy your content. Very informational videos and to the point. I am a powerstroke fanboy, but you are really helping me consider a Cummings.
Really, really, really nice looking 3rd gen! Makes me miss my 04 badly!
Completely done right bro!! Beautiful truck.. I will be getting exact same suspension, wheels and tires.. Awesome video!!
Absolutely beautiful build!
I’m eager to get my teeth dig into my cab-swap rebuild.
Thanks for sharing your rig and the ideas incorporated into it! 🤙
The passion is real! Meat and potatoes are awesome but the details took this to another level. Thanks for the tour!
Thanks for watching!
Great rig fella! I just picked up a 2007 Ram 2500 with the 5.9L. Only mod's are AFE cold air intake and intake horn, exhaust brake and full 5" exhaust. Suspension bone stock and rides like a tank, lol. Absolutely love this truck so far.
Glad I came across this video because I have started my build plan and have been contemplating going with a 3" Carli or a 3" BDS coil-over setup. I'm actually thinking quite hard on going with a 6" setup but I use the truck for work (power engineer at a gas plant) and have two young kids. The truck will see daily driving, work use and a lot of mountain trails and overlanding adventures as I live 30 minutes away from the Rocky Mountains (Calgary, Alberta). So a functional all around setup is what I am looking to build that will last a long time. Any advice on pro's and con's of a 6" setup are welcome. I've only ran 4" lift's on my trucks and this is my first diesel. Stay Driven
I just found your channel. Superb presentation, content and clean language. Keep up the good work.
Thank you! That’s exactly what I’m shooting for! Tired of all the junk diesel videos.
Wow, no money was spared in the making of this build. I have a 3rd gen myself, but I have the V1. Hardly ever do you see people building this Gen of Rams and taking time to do it right. This is quality right here
Thank you! 🙌
No talk on the free spin kit:( Beautiful truck as well my man wish my 06 was that clean
I spaced on that and the Fass! Too many parts haha
Incredibly tasteful! Great choice of mods!
"I have an axle dump because I do offroad this truck".............."I get 20mpg on the hwy and thats pretty much the only place I drive this truck" I gotta hand it to you though! This is a super clean, and tasteful build! Inspirational. I just picked up an '06 with only 100k miles on it after sending my 400k mile '04 to pasture. I picked up a few must do things from this vid. Nice truck!
Nice truck, we pretty much have the same rig other than I'm not color matched on my bumpers and grill. I love the carli 3.0 suspension, it rides better than my 15' denali hd did. I have a Borg Warner turbo, bigger injectors, 5" mbrp straight pipe, t4 steed speed manifold, fleece performance cp3 pump with an airdog 4g lift pump, arp headstuds and a built garmon transmission. It has been tuned with efi live by ppe to 630hp. I still have the 3.73s and on 35s I get 25mpg at 75. These trucks capabilities are amazing.
You’ve got the dream combo of suspension and power!
Good lookin. Got an 08 deleted and love the truck but you gave me some great ideas!
That is one sweet truck you’ve built. Nice job!
Awesome build, nicest 3rd Gen I’ve seen! Enjoyed every second of the video and you’ve earned a new sub!
Thanks for the support!
very high quality videos man. keep up the great work👍🏻
Awesome build! Such a clean truck! 🙌🙌
That Carli suspension! smooth like a dream
I don't know how youtubes algorithm works, but so glad this video showed up for me. You have one awesome truck.
I have a 3rd G 2500 with full Pintop 2.5, leafs and pretty much is here... My tires are Toyo 37's but the one thing I think I'm missing... THANK BRO.. Are your rims! I paid good money for the ones I have but these pop and starting research, they can hang with the beatings!
Oh we have got to do a side by side! You do have more into your Ram than I do, but I think you’ll appreciate what I’ve done with my ‘04.5
Love the hoodie man. MTB and Diesel for life
It is a very clean build. I had an 09 cummins and traded it off on a 2015 ecodiesel, was considering a smaller tacoma/canyon type truck but... I think I'm going to buy a car and go back to my roots and find a cummins with a g56 and just build it and keep it till I die
Super clean. I love it. Looking at this truck for my fishing kayak hauler/camper.
This video inspires me to fix up my 2003 Ram that's been sitting in my driveway for years. :)
One of my favorite trucks and channels! I’m actually looking for a 5.9 to build based off this bad boy! Keep the content coming!
Nice truck I use to own a 2006 5.9 only issue was keeping the ac working
I have a 06 SRW Laramie 3500 that's the same color as this truck It's amazing.
Finally a real build! Form and function!
For filtration you really ought to look at a snorkel, especially on dirt roads. Raising your intake minimizes dust ingress and makes the truck look cooler anyway.
Most tasteful truck build I've ever seen.
Sick truck!! Keep the videos coming!
I would love to see this truck in person, it might actually be one that looks good, not just cheesy with all the color matched stuff and peiced together
awsome content man! good job on the truck!
Awesome truck!!! Well thought out and unique!
Very Nice build. Salute ✊. I keep my 98 12 valve clean too.
So tasteful wow I’m going to take a good amount of inspiration from you on my 3rd gen build
Clean build. Love my 07 5.9 Thunder Road. A couple more power adders, but I like the suspension you did. May have me go back to 37's. You must be pretty tall to hop in that bad boy without steps. I'm 6' and it's still a climb in affair.
Haha no way! it’s got Amp research power steps! I’m 6’ 4” and it’s a hike without em! My girlfriend was the one that made me get them though since the other option was a ladder 😂
I have an 06 BigHorn 5.9 as well Prh Color I have been talking about paint to match bumpers and that exact light setup in rear bumper ....very nice man I got some good ideas from this and will build mine similar
Definitely go for it! Color match is such a huge looks improvement!
Damn that's the most beautiful truck ever built
Wow that's so cool that you got a early 3rd gen with the 5.9 Cummins even though its a 24v. That's still a wicked truck though
Austin Blevins that’s a late 3rd gen early 3rd gen had different headlights
I don't know what that axle is in the front, but nice build none the less. I miss my 08 mega cab 6.7. That truck did it all for me, good lift 35s, did a 6 speed nv5600 from a 01 cab and chassis truck and was so much better than that stock 68rfe
Great work brother. Not over done. Juuust right.
This truck is goals when I SAS my 06 Duramax.
sick!! my truck is just starting to body rust :'( damn road salt. makes me glad that some guys get to have a clean body
Ohio here ....salt sucks
Trucks gorgeous ! Great planning , work of art .
Mines finally done . All Thuren stuff . 3" springs , control arms , sway bar links , 2.0 foxes , new mopar t steering , 35 terras , straight piped , ARB locker in the rear , hypertech tuner . Love it all !!! 06 4 door long bed . Fox stabilizer also.
Definitely a nice looking truck, and I was ready to call BS on the 20mpg but then I see the Yukon free spin kit was installed by the previous owner(since it was in the original photos) and figured highly possible.
It really does make a difference, but keep in mine the 20mpg is going 65-68 mph
I also updated my sound system with bose and 4 8 inch Rockford Fosgate subs with a rifle / shot gun safe in the sub box
Love the third gens I have an 02 5.9 gas fully loaded only $3k with a shell to camp and keep shit In, wish I could’ve gotten the Cummins but still love mine next I’ll probably look for a 5.9 Cummins with a manual
clean build bud, congrats
love the loam wolf channel, glad I found this in my recommendations 👍
Thank you!
Agree that’s a good as looking truck wish I had one like yours
I spy that CH 53 tag. I work on V22s for the AF was curious if you served. Anywho, loving these vids bro. Currently binge watching. Take care pal.
I love it looks really clean !!
Would you happen to have a video or make a video on how you cut open the factory intake tube and removed baffles and put it back together?
Excellent truck and video! Job well done 👍!
Thanks for the information, getting my mirrors and lights from 1a Auto.
this Ram is CLEANN!
essentialy a 3rd gen power wagon cummins? nice job! my favorite part "left the motor stock except for a tune"
Kinda, but with waaay better suspension under it! Haha And yeah, as much as everyone wants power, I’m a fan of reliability and finding replacement parts anywhere!
I have an 06 just like
This thanks for the vid man and ideas beautiful truck
I have a 2006 Ram 1500 and I’m planning on getting the Spyder LED lights for mine.
Nice truck.. 👍 I have an 07 5.9 would like to build kind of like that..
good to see our Aussie brands and 4x4 (overland) style is going oversea.
