    I really loved your take up no. 3. Unless you explain and make people know your expertise, a mere accumulation of knowledge cannot constitute an intellectual capital.

    I like how you broke down each concept and went little more in depth , I like that you made the video a bit more personal by mentioning that you liked sci fi films etc . Lastly, my favorite part of the video would have to be the 3 takeaways towards the end of video . I feel like I was able to reflect on the knowledge you shared and apply it to my life .. Thank you .

      I was thinking about doing that one, too. Important concept. There are some other videos out there on it but I may do that one in the future.

    How intellectual capital benefits can be measured in units if that is possible ? Thanks

    • @alexanderlyon
      @alexanderlyon  Před 5 lety +2

      It is an interesting question but I don't think it is really possible to measure it directly in any type of unit. I know some companies have tried to do this type of thing but I think it's a waste of time, personally. Ultimately, companies sell goods and services, which are the tangible outcomes of intellectual capital, which is an intangible resource and/or capacity. Since dollars and cents is the only real universal unit of value in business (for better or worse), it only really makes sense to attach dollars and cents to revenue. Just my thoughts on it. I'm sure other people have other points of view.

    Why are patents and trademarks considered Intellectual Capital?

    • @alexanderlyon
      @alexanderlyon  Před 3 lety

      I think patents and trademarks are considered intellectual *_property_* . That is about the legal ownership of an invention, design, etc.
