Shinobi III: Return of the Ninja Master, released in Japan as The Super Shinobi II (ザ・スーパー忍II Za Sūpā Shinobu II), is an action game developed and published by Sega for the Mega Drive/Genesis console that was released in 1993. It is the direct sequel to the previous The Revenge of Shinobi. The game was originally intended to be released in 1992, and to be very different from the final version of the game in terms of levels and storyline.

Damn this gave a tear in my eye, my childhood was amazing, I used to sit late at night watching my uncles beat these games, gosh I miss just being lost in these mystical video game journeys. Thank man, I normally and rugged in my comments but man bro this one is some how beautiful, hats off to you my friend.
In all those retrogames videos (mine and others) i tend to associate the comments to people that has the same age as me (39, june/1980) and you saying "my uncles" reminds me the golden age of 8/16 bit era when i used to work in a rental game store before my 18 and it was so cool when some customers shared the same experience as yours. It didn't matter if wasn't a multiplayer game, sometimes had 3 or 4 people in front the tv even with 1 person playing...the others used to feel challenged as much as the player and everybody wanted to know what the next challenge was going to be and how is the next screen, cheering for the player. It can be still like this today but is so much cooler when young cause we are much more receptive to fantasy in the childhood. The other thing about the experience you just shared is that i realized that i'm way older than you (kidding, i don't know your age) but by the "watching my uncles beat these games" part, i would say you was too young to play Shinobi 3, otherwise you would share your story as player, not as spectator but it doesn't matter, i'm just saying that i love to know there are people like you (younger or not) that have a cool familiar bond memory to share regarding these games, it's really great. I remember my dad finding the first warp zone in Super Mario, level 1-2, and thinking he was like Christopher Columbus or Neil Armstrong. We all need to reflect on those magical times that continue to inspire us. Music is great for that, which hits us both emotionally and intellectually, whether we perceive to remember it or not, kind of like an odor haha. Anyway, cheers!

Nostalgia vibez!!!!! I grew up playing Shinobi. This game was my favorite because this soundtrack. Idaten is my favorite track for level that Shinobi is on the horse and running on the tanks that exploses.
