    I have a DCC ready Erlestoke Manor on pre order. If I did get round to DCC fitting my layout I may look into sound fitting it as I know GWR two tone whistles can play tunes and I have seen a few drivers at the Severn Valley Railway playing a tune on some of the GWR locomotives.

  • @trainskitsetc
    @trainskitsetc Před rokem +1

    Do you supply two tenders so you can replicate the practice of the tender variants being swapped around all the time as they didn't follow the same routine of overhauls as locomotives. Even happens in preservation.

    • @accurascaleuk1427
      @accurascaleuk1427  Před rokem

      No, we dont. Thanks!

    • @trainskitsetc
      @trainskitsetc Před rokem +1

      Do you permit the buyer to select tender variant as per their specific needs for that particular loco in their chosen era and chosen time frame within that era?
      Just seems an odd choice given you've been hyping this and taking preorders for an awfully long time one presumes to help estimate optimal initial run volume in order to make your desired return after amortisation of your capital expenditure on the product and gone to these lengths of detail while talking up how the buyer gets to choose what bits are fitted or not to negotiate curves then completely miss the target on being able to preorder tender variations which would be quite easy given the huge window you guys have on preordering before decorated samples are even in your hands, probably before engineering samples are even in hand. Would it have been that hard to have a drop down select a tender menu at least for direct orders and then instruct the factory on numbers of each variation?
      Anyway I'm sure no one else will raise this so keen are the upper echelons of model railway content producers to be in your good books/use your success in some pathetic point scoring excersise between manufacturers. 🤣

    Excellent video. I volunteer on P-Way at the Gloucestershire Warwickshire so it will come as no surprise to you that I have Dinmore Manor on order. I'm intrigued by the TRS live steam system although not yet seen it in the flesh. I belive Hornby are bringing out some locos with something very similar. Any views on that from Accurascale?

    Nice looking model but PLEASE replace that joke of a 3-pole motor with a decent 5-pole motor and Get Rid of That Stupid, monstrosity of a massive Bulk Box that you place the model in. Dapol wins Hands-Down in these areas and is a far superior performer from start to finish too.
    You could say that I am a tad disappointed or you could say that I'm totally P***ed-Off with such an over-priced and over-bulky packaging.
    Just for the record, we're presently trying to accommodate a decent 5-pole brush-motor (No Coreless/brushless Rubbish in this workshop!)....
