Am I the only one who notices that lesserafim is the only girl group who is really linked together whenever they dance? they just freaking dance the same level. That sets them apart from other groups since others tend to show their individuality whenever they perform. Lesserafim embodies the choreo so much that they look bloody sync to each other, when you watch them they look like they came from the same background of style of dance. it’s just mesmerizing to watch 😭
Definitely not the only one! Most people praise them as a whole when it comes to their synergy when performing, just as you say, they all give their 100% and it’s clearly visible!

@@i_sabella I actually somewhat lie lowed of kpop after some time groups became repetitive but they were the ones that brought me back to it together with new jeans just because of the new flavor and vibe that they have brought, and come on even if your not a fan of lesserafim you can’t deny how in synced and good they are when they perform.
@@llyanjimenez4985 literally same but with girl groups. For some reason I’ve always been a male group stan, though I still follow up with the releases of some girl groups. BUT as far as the 4th Gen girl groups, besides two our three groups, I didn’t keep up with any of their albums nor content. But when NJ and LSF debuted it was just too different from anything going on that it was hard not to check them out, now I’m in love with LSF’s music and content they drop and with NJ, maybe because they’re a bit younger than I am and their humor is different, just their amazing music!
That’s because they’re trained to be in exact sync and do the movement exactly right or else
I just gotta say I really like it when people do analysis of idols instead of rankings, cuz honestly they are the fakest shit. Thanks for the video ❤️

I've noticed that Sakura is really light on her feet too.
i still the hate the fact that some people not acknowledging Sakura’s dance capabilities. She grew a lot and I’m so proud that she’s getting better and better every now and then ❤
Eunchaes isolation and control is underrated!! Like that roll she added in the run bts challenge was so cool
12:42 was amazing. instead of doing the usual time signature like everyone else did, she went for the rhythm. her musicality is great!

Even if le sserafim did have official positions I think Yunjin definitely would've been in the dance line because she gets a lot of center parts in dance breaks.
I feel like it's because her parts are mostly in the dancer break, this thus she gets the center but personally, I don't think they assign who's going to be the center for the dance break since everyone is clearly a dancer in this griup

Also just a small feedback: Le sserafim doesn’t have any official positions so you don’t have to add “Yunjin not being in the dance line”
Le sserafim doesn't have official lines (something normal for smaller groups) but they do have positions. Yunjin is their main vocal, Chaewon is their lead vocal and leader, Kazuha is their main dancer and rapper, Sakura is their center and lead dancer and Eunchae is the maknae (but honestly with her growth I don't doubt she evolves in her role inside the group).

@@biazacha They don't, a big part of le sserafim was managed by bang pd and he was the one who started the no positions thing through TXT. If you would look at groups under HYBE from the 4th gen, none of them have official positions besides leader and "maknae" isn't a position, its literally just "the youngest member" if you translate it into english.

Shockingly lesserafim is one if not the most impressive group in terms of performance that debuted this year and with the debut of NJ some speculate that future hybe gg will improve later on since they mostly testing waters and playing around genres so looking forward especially next year about 4 groups debuting next year which bonkers by any company to do it from GEFFEN, iland, trainee A, Zico's bg like that's insanely bold yet kinda understandable given they can and have the backing they need to do it regardless.
Love these analyses! Rarely do people break down idol dance styles to this extent, thank you! Also just want to add, it was briefly mentioned by Form of Therapy in their reaction to Impurities, which I never actually realized until then, Sakura is the most consistent when dancing. In Impurities, there's a shot that looks like a lighting change, but it's actually a whole different take, but we don't realize because sakura's form and position is almost exactly the same but the other members are slightly off, it's so insane how someone can be so consistent.
Hi! This the first time I saw one of your videos and I am like amazed! Your analysis is so clean and easy to understand plus you also educate us about different dance terms. Even your voice is pleasant, I would honestly listen to you even if you were talking about the most boring thing on the planet, LOL. Okay, congratulations you are the only analyst of dance (that doesn't go fully on screen) that I believe has actually taught dancing before or has been in a dance program. The terminology you use is the professional ones, and you point out the things that my teachers pointed out during practices and reviews of competition. These are things I said to the 4 year olds I taught decades ago, especially about using muscles to tense and to watch their lines in the mirror.

i love how each member has their own unique core strengths that all come together in their performances. its what makes them one of if not the best performing 4th gen girl group. they have such an amazing lineup.

this is a great and easy to understand analysis! I also liked how you talked about each of them instead of just ranking it provides a lot of depth.
Lesserafim has one of the best performers in the kpop industry. Particularly, Sakura, Chaewon and Yunjin shows potential and definitely can be a strong lead dancer but not a strong main dancer. Sakura definitely took hip hop experience during her trainee period in hype as its shown in the leg thing in antifragile. Her arm and leg control is developed and her dynamics choices are also one of her strengths. Chaewon is a very consistent dancer with great body connection and hip isolations. She's also one of the best performers in kpop from her facial expressions. Yunjin is also one of the best performers in kpop as she knows how to combine great power, flexibility and facial expressions as an advantage for her body language and stage presence to look elegent and dramatic. Kazuha still has a long way to go. Because she has done ballet, it's hard for her to get out of the habits to creating body control as it's just posture and alignment. She misses a lot of details and isolations from all of her body. I can only say, Kazuha is at the peak of her ballet career and she is good at creating unique and eye catching lines to look elegant. Eunchae have great sharpness of movement and fairy good body control however she's flowy to the point where her timing is off. Her limbs aren't well controlled as well.
I never really watched Sakura's performances prior to Le Serrafim bc I don't listen to that style of music, so whenever I see clips of it I am shocked. It seems like those 'concepts' and 'training' were such a disservice to her potential. Idols in different groups/companies would understandably showcase a different side of themselves, but it shouldn't make them different people. If Jimin, for instance, was performing with a different group like NCT for some random reason, the style of music would be different (thus pulling on different styles of dancing) and the performances might be different (since different companies prioritize elements-- some focus on what looks good in MVs and some focus on what looks good on a stage). But, he would not become a different person, charisma-wise and skill-wise, he already has that cultivated from initial training and his entire career up until that point.
So, when I see Sakura perform at the Mamas alongside her old peers and can literally see how she has changed, it truly highlights what a disservice her previous companies did. Their priorities were obviously just about finding the prettiest people who can perform naturally and dance/sing at a minimum and left it there. I watched their YT Docuseries and the person that first entered was a drastically different person than the girl that performed at Mamas. It's a big testament to Bighit and the values they prioritize because when a company invests in your skills AND music instead of your looks and concepts, you now have longevity on your side. Music should be created by/for your idols so it pulls on their strengths; music fails when it's done the other way around. Then, you have young girls that have no relationship/educational experience talking about Girls on Top. Or, you have solid performers singing badly or lipsyncing because you don't know what songs highlight/cater to your talent's voice.

I love how on this video they just highlighted each member´s strenght at the time to performance and not their weakness. All of them are such great members, and one of the most strong girl group on this generation.
Just like how Mina is the only one who pays attention with lines in TWICE. It's highly evident in the tutting part in the verse 1 of ICSM, where she executed it the way it gives justice to the lines and square hand formationa of the choreo.
eunchae would definitely be on a hip hop dances styles.

I know the chance is low but I would love if you could do a dance analysis on Lee Chaeyeon. I have seen her dance analysis/ ranking before but after watching 2 of your videos (so far) I think you give the best breakdown of each individual dancer’s characteristics. It’s genuinely very interesting. Chaeyeon was the first time I properly noticed a dancer’s unique style without actively searching it out. It can be easy for non-dancer’s (like myself) to miss the nuance between dance line members and just generally decent kpop dancers so I would love to better understand how her lightness and smoothness (that even I could notice) works ❤

I don’t think this channel does ranking. But in my opinion I prefer analysis. With analysis’s each member is highlighted. With ranking only the top member is highlighted which can be a little unfair to the group who are all trying their best.

9:38 Huh. I keep noticing how Chaewon has a very different line here than the others, but... am I the only one who actually prefers her unbroken curve to the others' straight lines and a sharp corner at the hip? There is something so satisfying in that stretch.
Also, I keep wondering why they do it differently; I doubt Chaewon lacks the core strength to do the (IMO worse) version which the others are doing, and conversely I doubt the others couldn't do hers. And given their attention to detail and everything being perfectly synchronised (the intro to Fearless is jawdropping, one would think it's just one dancer, copy-pasted), I can't believe it was not noticed, so it must be intentional. Why?
i always thought that she didnt go as low in order to get a better angle for the camera while she is center, and because she is smaller than the rest, so maybe it would look uneven. also, one thing that sets her stretch apart is that she puts more focus on her arms, notice how she has her elbows pointing outwards while everyone else keeps them close to their chest.
