  • This week, To The Trains travels to Central Kentucky to visit My Old Kentucky Dinner Train. We hop on board to sample the food and follow the train along the route from Bardstown to Limestone Springs.
One correction, My Old Kentucky Dinner Train is for riders aged 5 and up, though there are certain all ages events throughout the year. For more information on these trips, visit kydinnertrain.com.
Forgive any unsteady shots or awkward transitions. Still learning all the tricks of my new equipment and software.
Special thanks to RJ Corman Corporation, operators of My Old Kentucky Dinner Train.

You mentioned these cars have been restored. Yes they have but not to their original look. These cars, I can guarantee never left their respective builders factory complex with fancy, high polished wood paneling, wood window sills, high end "mood lights"
    and deep pile carpet.

What is the source of electricity for refrigeration of food, lights, etc., when the train is idle, waiting to leave?
