Humming also creates a vibration that stimulates our vagus nerve and can increase our vagal tone (aka the health of the vagus nerve) When we hum, we induce parasympathetic dominance, which means moving out of “fight or flight” stress mode into relaxation. 🐬

Yep, it’s because we’re exhaling during the hum, and that’s what activates the parasympathetic NS
@@paula-pw7yd not exactly. It’s the sound itself, that reverberates and therefore internally prompts the vagus nerve to recalibrate itself. But deep breathing, definitely also helps.
I run a mediation group and we hum into our sacred water in the body. Amazing things happen. We have been doing this for almost 4 years. The monks do it to heal bodies.

I have only just started the video but as I scrolled down the comments I realised what this is about. I was in Glastonbury just over a week ago and we stumbled on the Aquan shop by accident! I bought some of the water. What a coincidence (or not! 😊) that Pam is talking to Alex now. ❤️❤️❤️

When I was in India, Haridwar, every evening people gather and chant by the Ganges river, placing offerings of flowers and candles. There were thousands of people and it was the most spectacular thing I’ve ever experienced with regard to the water.

James Nestor writes about humming and 'nose songs' in his book, Breath: The New Science of a Lost Art:
"Nitric oxide is a powerhouse molecule that widens capillaries, increases oxygenation, and relaxes the smooth muscles.
Humming increases the release of nitric oxide in the nasal passages 15-fold. This is the most effective, and simple, method for increasing this essential gas. It may sound ridiculous, and feel ridiculous, and annoy those nearby, but the effects can be potent."
I love this conversation and the idea of humming together during the eclipse. The control system is in the final pangs of it's demise.

Oh wow, since the 11th of this month I have heard a Hum in my energy field, it has, at times, had me searching my home to locate where it was coming from, having said that, it, 'the hum' was with me no matter where I was, if there was silence, I could hear it. OMGosh... you just reminded me of this "Hum" I was hearing..days at a time... for the last 5 years. It sounded Big. I did the same thing... looked for where it was coming from .. and found it was with me. What came to me was that it was the sound of Earth.... the sound of this World ... just sounding along its way. Weirdly... I just realized that I haven't heard it in a long time. Dang. I go through periods where I hear it all of the time. . I did some research on it on Google, and found that it’s a worldwide phenomenon. That people all over the world are hearing this sound that has no direction or no location.its been called the Hum.

So much of this presentation resonates, hums within me! Thank you, Pam and Alex. I am a flower essence producer (Raven Essences) and all my products (350 essences) are created with the plants and sound, something I was guided to do (to 'bring myself to the process of creating the essences'). As a musician, this was how I became 'entangled' into the creative process - the intelligence of the plant, the water, and sound, along with my intention to listen and be fully present to the creative process. The entanglement continues, from 1995 to now, and so grateful to be aware with all gathering around the world at this time, in the great leap occurring - the shift from the 'love of power' into 'the power of love!'

Thank you for an amazing conversation! I have been meditating with frankincense and myrrh for about a year now, without really realizing their importance. I am watching this two days after we have learned that Princess Catherine has cancer. Speaking as an American, I don't think countries need royalty, and perhaps the astrology does point to the downfall of the monarchy. However, I also see this as an opportunity to hold the royal family in compassion and love with everything they are going through. Change is difficult, and we need to hold everyone in love. I was napping yesterday, and I was aware that the dream and my physical body were communicating--I could feel them working together to clear and clarify the water in my energetic body. I don't know how else to describe it. I also realize now, listening to your conversation, that I'd been working on my computer for hours and hadn't done any singing all day. (which probably explains why I needed a nap!)

Magnificent exchange of knowledge! I intuitively know everything he speaks about to be the truth. I live in northern California, and I get my water from Mount Shasta’s headwaters of the Sacramento river. It is magical water. Thank you for your service to humanity, and raising the consciousness in the collective. Sidenote, in my research, I found that when water is frozen in the Arctic it is wiped, clean, and loses all cellular memory.

However, all things are possible). I have used humming for many years now, it is the best remedy for pain that I know about. This is simply wonderful. Years ago in my garden, eating an apple, I had an epiphany realising how rain water falls to earth, apple tree soaks up and fills the fruit, while we enjoy the juicy high vibration apple we drink of the natural wholesome filtering mechanism of all living systems and beings. Why it's so important not to use artificial chemicals in atmosphere, on land and eat as much as possible the uncorrupted fruits of the earth for our wellbeing and vibration.
